Went there for a special creosote. They had a good selection. Plenty of tools , kitchen displays and plenty of items for the DIY person.

I was there today. I wanted to buy hair dye. One cost £8 but two cost £12. There was a promotion. At the checkout, unfortunately, there was no promotion. The saleswoman said no. She asked a friend to check if the price was on the shelf. Of course it was, but they didn't include me.

staff would rather stand around talking than stock shelves or open up a till. how they haven’t been fired is a mystery. they do no work. when you ask them a question they either say ‘i don’t know’ or ‘it’s over there’ and point vaguely in the wrong direction. half the prices are wrong too. still haven’t received my refund from last year. where’s my £5.60?

I know B&M and Home & Bargains get all the love, but I've always got what I wanted in Wilko. Not too pricey either.

Great store for loads of quality goods. Some stores are cheaper but you get what you pay for. If you want it to last but still at a reasonable price... Get it from wilko

The price and quality of the goods are very competitive. The wheelie baskets are great for me as I have a bad back but the problem comes when I get to the checkout. You have to lift them up quite high or leave them on the floor and bend up and down to get your shopping out. Checkouts definitely need a rethink. I can't be the only person with this problem.

A good variety of household and DIY products on sale as well as gardening, pet and soft furnishing items. Baby and adult toiletries are also available. Staff are friendly and polite. The isles are wide and easily navigated with a pram or wheelchair. Product prices are reasonable and the variety of items on offer is wide with good choice of branded and own brand items.

Always queues at the tills and stock never kept on top of. Many times I've visited only to find out that although they sell items I need, inevitably there run out of that item. E.g. light bulbs, door locks and DIY items. Come on, get your stock sorted properly.... it's not that hard!

Nice large clean and airy store with wide aisles and tidy stocked shelves. Wheelchair and pram friendly. Helpful staff. Good prices on everyday stuff. Easy access from multi storey or any of the car parks.
