   I booked a BIAB infill appointment at Paradise Nail & Beauty Salon for 10:30am, but I wasn’t seen until 10:45am. I showed the design I wanted and was told the price would be £40. However, midway through the appointment I was told it would be £45, despite clearly requesting BIAB when booking. This should have been confirmed before starting and felt unprofessional. The appointment took an extremely long time, finishing at 12:50pm — over 2 hours for a BIAB infill. During this time, the female technician repeatedly served multiple other customers, while one male technician worked on my nails. Those customers arrived after me and still left before me. I felt ignored and my time was wasted. The first technician completely ruined the design, so another technician had to redo it, making the appointment even longer. Even after this, the final result was poor: the nails are bulky, uneven, not the same size, and there is visible residue from my previous burgundy colour still showing. When the design was redone, only part of the work was corrected — no one checked all of my nails properly or offered to fully redo them, despite the issues being obvious. UPDATE: After I left this review, the owner called me. He initially offered a free service next time, which I declined as I don’t live nearby and won’t be returning. When I asked for a refund due to being dissatisfied, his tone changed. He blamed the Christmas period for the delays, questioned why I didn’t raise concerns (which I did), spoke to me in an unprofessional manner, and hung up the phone on me mid-conversation. I was already unhappy with the service — after this call, I am extremely frustrated. The workmanship, organisation, and customer care were all unacceptable. I would not recommend this salon.

   Myka did an amazing job on my nails! She was super friendly, detailed, and really took her time to make sure everything looked perfect. The shape, color, and finish turned out exactly how I wanted. You can tell she really cares about her work and her clients. I highly recommend Myka if you want beautiful, professional nails.
