Best place in Islington let alone Finsbury Park - been coming here for 7years plus - Hanna and the crew is amazing great service
I went to Pak’s to purchase hair products with my daughter. I noticed Angels Hair & Beauty Salon. Although we live in Regent’s Park we decided to go in and enquire if we could book an appointment for my daughter’s hair. There were 4 people in the salon, one young man, I believe was a customer. We waited at the counter for service, only for the rudest most uncouth character in the form of a hairdresser I have ever come across, carrying the burden of her uncivilised negative energy to give me the worst customer service experience I have ever had. To the point where another young woman seated, felt compelled to make excuses for her by saying “sorry she’s just tired”. If you are looking for a professional service, this salon is not the place to get it. After that negativity there was no way I would have allowed that young woman to touch my daughter. I am a mature person, I wasn’t about to argue with a young person clearly younger than my eldest chid. She was totally out of order. Unfriendly, very disrespectful and completely unprofessional. Whoever upset her or however tired she is, it’s not my problem. I don’t presume she provides her services to anyone beyond her friends and family. With that nasty attitude, that’s probably for the best.
Great service! I travel from outside London to come and get my hair done here whenever I can. Love the service and my hair is well looked after. Friendly and patient staff. I see a lot of young children coming in to get their hair done also. I wish I lived closer so I could visit more! Well done.

Came here late and last minute as I'd gone to Josee's Braiding salon nearby and the staff and service was so awful had to leave. Found this lovely family run store nearby and am so thankful for that. Even thought it was late and last minute they agreed to my knotless braids, which, for the style and length I wanted meant them staying behind their usual closing time and later than usual because I'd explained that I live far and had come to the area specially to do my hair. Hanna, who owns the store has a very gentle but precise hand. Would highly recommend. Have gorge, long but light braids that looks exactly as I asked.
This is the second time I’ve been to this store and left with something I did not ask for! Firstly the first time I came to this store I asked for a simple braided pony tail and this lady decided she wanted to do a braid with an ugly bun attached to it. I did not ask for this. Also I did not get 15% off like new customers are suppose to. The second time I’ve come which is recently I’ve asked for braids and she’s done twists in my hair. She has also over charged me, this is why they don’t have price list as they want to over charge whoever they please. She kept me waiting for an hour and half and spent time talking to some random man who came in the shop, it’s giving unprofessional. I asked if I could get 15% off as she never even told me the last time and she refused and instead gave £5 which is not 15% this shop service is horrible and not worth the £70 I paid for a style I again didn’t ask for. I showed this lady twice how I wanted it and she still decided to do something else. This is ridiculous at this point. She didn’t even do it long like I requested and I heard her quote someone less for longer braids and smaller. I litterly asked for thick braids she did the top section thick and didn’t even add any hair to the rest to even out the thickness. On top of that she does not use heat protection and will blow dry your hair on the highest heat. No sis. Please go to a better salon like elite hair lounge, this salon is not it. Save your coins and run from this shop!
I had to edit so I could give this place another shout out. They really are the best, and they're so efficient and helpful. I mean look at these passion twists! I'm in love. Previously at Angel: Got my hair washed, trimmed and braided down in 2 nice box braids. I got seen immediately and everyone was really friendly and relaxed. The lady who did my hair was very nice and gentle. Will book again.
I've been coming to Angel Hair and Beauty for a while now. Hannah and her sister are always friendly and flexible in getting you an appointment! The salon is a relaxed environment and a lot nicer than other competing salons. I have never left the salon unhappy with my hair. Would definitely recommend! :)
