Compared to the independent opticians we had been to previously, this one felt much better. The equipment is much more state of the art, and all the staff were very knowledgeable and helpful. Wait times were minimal for such a big store - another big plus.
Have attended Specsavers for some time now on a yearly basis. Very pleased with the professionalism that is shown by all the staff. There is no hesitation should the need of being referred to another part of the service. Full explanation is always given plus there is no form of pressure being applied when it comes to deciding upon treatment that is required.
Great experience at our first time at Specsavers in Halifax, due to a recent move from Leeds area. Plenty of staff on hand, didn't have to wait for the appointment, everyone was friendly and not pushy into buying any new specs yet. I'll be back early next year for some new ones before a family wedding we have. Hubby purposely wanted new glasses and 3 pairs for less than £500, a bargain, much cheaper than Boots.
The optician was absolutely amazing, he checked my eyes thoroughly and ran few more tests in the end just to make sure everything is ok. He explained everything whilst he was checking my eyes in greater details. Since my eye sight had deteriorated he also guided me on how to choose the verifocal lense. I would highly recommend him. Very pleased and happy with his service.
As an indecisive person, I sometimes take time to decide on things. To pick frames, I went back to the store several times before and after buying to have one replaced. The staff have been great and no trouble at all. They have been very helpful and made it all easy. Very happy with the experience.
Glasses fit perfectly. The eye test was very thorough and informative. Staff very friendly and I didn't have to wait long to receive my new glasses. Will certainly recommend Specsavers to others who are needing new glasses as there are lots of lovely frames to choose from.
Had an opticians appointment with the new computer system for glasses and lens The opticians I had did the test. And as the lens were being added The one which made my version better the opticians dismissed and gave me another prescription. I explained that the prescription to glasses wasn't right. And was basically told that. This is your prescription I refused to accept the prescription when the prescription is wrong. And I know what I can see through and what I cant. And what makes it clearer and what doesn't. I now have a new eye test on the 21 back with the old style glasses and lens system. I will not pay for a prescription that I belive know is wrong.

Made online appointment for eye test which went smoothly, this followed by choosing new frames from vast selection. Two weeks later went for fitting & collection, this again was problem free. All in all a trouble free experience & am more than happy with my glasses.
