   I have been going to Choppy Cuts for over 7 years, wouldn't go anywhere else. Irfan is a master colourist. Best hairdresser I have ever had.

   I visited this salon with my friend, who booked us in for her wedding and I am beyond disappointed with the experience. While the bride looked stunning, I can’t say the same for myself and another friend who attended. To start, the hairstylist completely ignored my requests and ended up burning my hair and giving me a hairstyle I didn’t ask for. He applied hairspray to each section of my hair before detangling, which was very painful, and then wrapped my hair around curling tongs for so long that smoke started coming out. My hair smelled burnt for weeks despite washing it multiple times and using treatments. The damage caused is unacceptable. The makeup was no better, it was shockingly bad. I didn’t know makeup could make someone look so unflattering until this experience. They used an orange foundation on us which is supposed to be a high end brand owned by the boss but in the daylight when we walked out the salon, it was not blended and it looked horrendous! We were so embarrassed that we went home to wipe everything off and redo both our hair and makeup ourselves, and honestly, we did a far better job at home. Waste of money! This salon seems to be all hype and no professionalism. The staff were dismissive and kept talking about how customers who didnt like their hair and makeup were rude which didnt allow us to express our concerns or tell them we were unhappy. We also didnt have time for them to fix anything because we were on a schedule for the wedding. Despite arriving to the salon from the moment it opened, they took so long to get us ready that by the time our hair was finally out the rollers (with about eight other customers waiting) it was too late to request any changes. There was no reassurance along the way of getting ready. We spent 4 hours in that place! On top of that, the boss was openly bullying staff, calling them names and made comments to us that were uncomfortable and unnecessarily personal. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone, especially for an important occasion. Save your time, money, and hair.. go elsewhere.

   I had my hair and makeup done with Irfan for several events including my wedding and had the best service. Irfan is very kind and friendly, goes by exactly what you want. Couldn’t have gone with anyone else other than him. 10/10 service, would recommend to everyone!

   Leaving a review as I’m wowed by this place! The team went out of their way to make me feel welcomed and to do what I asked for my hair with the most care and with a big ask (from grown out bleach to pink!). It felt more like going to a friends place to get my hair done and I believe they truly cared about my experience and weren’t trying to get money from me. Thank you so much to the Choppy Cut team and I will see you again soon!

   Irfan is an incredibly talented Bridal makeup artist and hair stylist. His work did not budge the whole day and usually my makeup melts after 3 hours due to my oily skin. He used his own selection of makeup and I’m glad I trusted his professional choices. I was over the moon when I saw the photographers unedited pictures - my skin looked airbrushed and had a smooth candlelit glow from within ✨ The rest of the team are also very sweet & friendly. Thank you.

   I went to Choppycut for a keratin treatment and I couldn’t be more happy. Throughout the whole service the members of staff were very kind and welcoming. Irfan was especially attentive towards my hair’s needs to ensure that it is as healthy as possible-after having a terrible experience at a hairdresser in Turkey. My hair has a very soft and silky feel and I’m so glad that I went to choppycut for this service. I will definitely be returning in the future for other treatments.

   My sister in law got bridal hair and make up here and we also attended, from start to finish the staff and their service was beyond amazing. Irfan was very caring, and made sure every single one of us left happy. Mel the receptionist was also fantastic, making sure we were all out by the time we needed to be and doing the last check ups before we left to make sure each and every one of us left satisfied. Choppy cut is a hairdresser everyone can book without a doubt at all as you will leave very happy. Thank you Irfan & all staff for the perfect hospitality All staff and atmosphere is great.
