I had a deeply frustrating and upsetting experience at this salon. I had paid for my treatment months in advance and called to confirm my appointment. Upon arrival, I received my treatment, but when it was time to leave, I was stopped by the staff who insisted they couldn’t find any record of my payment. Despite explaining that I had already paid and confirming my appointment over the phone, they refused to let me go until they sorted it out. I repeatedly informed them that I was in a rush to pick up my six-year-old daughter from her swimming lesson and had very little time left. Still, they made no effort to resolve the situation quickly and showed little regard for my urgency. It wasn’t until they called another colleague, who confirmed my payment, that they finally let me go. By this point, I was already late and incredibly stressed. What made this situation even worse was their complete disregard for my repeated attempts to explain my situation, especially considering I have another booking with them in just a few days. I asked them to resolve the issue by then, but they still refused to let me leave. The entire ordeal was unnecessarily stressful, and I was left feeling angry and upset. I would highly advise anyone to reconsider using this salon, especially if you value professionalism and respect for your time. This experience was unacceptable.

I booked a consultation at Charmelle London, and it turned out to be a truly disappointing experience. I live roughly 1.5 hours away, and due to massive train cancellations, I spoke to them on the way and informed them I would be 30 minutes late. Despite already traveling for over 1.5 hours and offering to wait, they flatly refused to see me, even for just 5 minutes. I asked if I could speak to someone else—again, they said no. Could I get a refund for the consultation? No. Could I reschedule? No. It wasn’t about the rules but the appalling lack of empathy and basic courtesy shown. The dismissive attitude made the situation far worse than it needed to be. After that conversation I obviously got off the next station and took the train back home . As I was on my way back home, they suddenly called and told me they can see me if I could make it if I got there in 10 minutes due to a cancellation. I explained that I was already on my way back and it would take me more than 10 minutes to return. Despite this, I still offered to come back if they were willing to see me . The obvious answer was no . The indifference in their tone was obvious—it felt like I was being brushed off. It’s shocking how little they seem to care about people. If this is how they treat potential clients, I can only imagine how they handle things after they've been paid. A lack of basic compassion goes a long way in ruining what could have been a good experience. I certainly won’t be returning.Its not about your terms & conditions but how you make a person feel . Hollie,the brow technician is an amazing artist and very patient. She did an amazing job with my eyebrows.I don't have enough words to praise her. I did had lymphatic drainage massage with Kelly and she is lovely. The place is very clean and has a relaxing atmosphere and the staff very professional.

This is a complaint I have now emailed twice and still have had no reply. I didn’t want to leave a public review but have been left no choice. Yesterday was my appointment no.9 for manual lymph node massage on my legs and I don’t really know why I had that many appointments to be honest. I found the girl that did them all (bar 1) not always very welcoming. She wore rubber gloves which I have never heard off with having massages before - and I have had lots! I don’t know why I didn’t say anything to her as I generally have no problem in doing so in other situations. Her massage technique was also not very good compared to another lady I have now started visiting. Most of the time it felt like she was barely touching me. Yesterday she used YouTube on an iPad to play music, as the in-house was broken, which continually played adverts so not very relaxing. She offered no after care advice which lucky enough I did already know. And yesterday when my appointment finished she just said “that’s your last appointment”. No trying to encourage me to continue booking my sessions which confirms that my business is not required. So Unfortunately just not very professional over all.

I had some misunderstanding with my appointment which they handled with kindness and professionalism. I will be going back 6 weeks time and I am also considering having other treatments done at Charmelle too. Thank you

Weird experience at this place. I'm not sure what they get out of lying like we can't check after. The lady, Chelsea told me if I booked for a treatment she recommended after I had my initial treatment done, I would get 'a new customer discount' ... Upon checking on the website, this 'discount' was actually just the full price and they clearly do this to try and get you to have other treatments and fool you into thinking you got a good price. I really didn't like this at all, so I cancelled my treatment with them as I don't like being lied to and feeling scammed! I contacted them on their page to ask about this and they never responded! Also the blonde lady working here comes across as very unfriendly, as soon as I walked in she looked me up and down and just had a really negative aura about her. Didn't make me feel relaxed at all. It's all fair and good asking for 'good google reviews' but your service actually has to match! I really didn't appreciate being lied to, its extremely unprofessional, and the fact I didn't even get a response when asking goes to show you they didn't have anything to say for their scamming selves. I won't be coming here again.
