   Booked in for a 2 day stay including the breakfast. The room was decent, bed was comfortable enough and clean. The breakfast was also decent. There is no lift so be aware of that incase of disabilities and so on, the corridors are very narrow, was difficult for me to push my double pram, also there are many doors in the corridors so you have to keep pushing and holding them open if you have a pram. The train station wasn’t too far so that’s a plus! And there is plenty of parking

   Stayed here for 4 nights, there's not much close by other than a Brewers Fayre which I didn't try, also didn't use the bar/restaurant in the Premier Inn but Knottingley is a 15minute walk where there's various takeaways, bars and shops. Stayed in November so no issues with the room being too hot which many reviews mention. Wi-Fi was ridiculously slow at times so ended up tethering although the room had very poor mobile signal but that's not really their fault. Ultimate Wi-Fi is available but it wasn't worth paying the £5 for 24 hours as I'd barely use it. The room was quiet, clean, comfortable and the hotel staff were very friendly. Stayed in many Premier Inns and this one is much like the rest.

   I had a fantastic stay at Premier Inn Pontefract. The breakfast was excellent, with options that suited my dietary needs perfectly. Receptionist Sue deserves special recognition , she’s an absolute credit to the hotel. Friendly, supportive, and wonderfully kind, she really made my stay feel extra welcoming. My room was spacious, comfortable, and came with a bath tub, which was just what I needed as I was on a running journey. The restaurant and bar staff were also brilliant – friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience enjoyable. Overall, a wonderful stay. I’ll definitely be back!

   Amazing staff, who went over and above having a room ready for us at midday when we were travelling from the south to attend a funeral. Full of northern friendly hospitality and a lovely spotless room. We can highly recommend this hotel

   Stayed here for the week for work related visit. Rooms very clean with tea and coffee facilities. No problem getting more tea, coffee and milk from reception if required. Restaurant next door, highly recommended. Free Wi-Fi in room which was adequate and can upgrade if you require higher speeds.

   Extremely great customer service. They were superb and always do everything they can to help. All staff were so friendly and professional. The rooms were lovely. There’s a great restaurant, bar and both an indoor & outdoor play area for children. Can’t wait to stay again!!!

   Can't go wrong here, Really handy location close enough to main motorway but far enough away not to hear it. So clean and up-to-date, friendly staff making the stay effortless. Love the breakfast and the powerful shower, best parts. Flawless, Will be our regular choice for family visits.

   The room was great for the price but we had the meal deal and the Brewers Fayre was poor. Service was painfully slow and the food luke warm. We abandoned the dessert because we did not want another hours wait. Breakfast on the other hand was super. But it's self service of course.
