i was recommended boots options middleton by my friend, and i was not disappointed. The process was super quick and as someone who wears glasses full time there are so many different options. The staff were super helpful and friendly and even suggested to me i can come back and pick some sunglasses for half price which i did a couple weeks later. Boots middleton will defo be my go to from now on as i felt so at ease throughout the whole process

Rude staff. But even ruder manager whom I know has had many complaints on her but still nothing being done. 0 customers inside, and no line when I went in. So it wasn’t even stressful and busy either. I had only came in to ask if they had rubbing alcohol in the store because my daughter had stained her school skirt with pen ink. Took her a whole minute of caring to see a customer was in-front of her and respond with “I don’t know” So seriously, the training is terrible.

Awful chemist. There’s always a long queue of people, including elderly people waiting to pick up their prescription. It’s like this most of the time, I’ve waited 30-40mins on average. What makes it worse is the fact that the person serving on the prescription part then leaves and goes on the till to serve the queue that’s been building there, leaving the prescription line being unserved again. Also I was told they would order a medicine in and to pick it up the following week, which it wasn’t in. They said they would definitely get it (again), so I went in the following week and they said they hadn’t even ordered it. I’d never use this pharmacy again, everybody in the queue always complains, and the complaints are always the same.

DO NOT NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY I bought my daughter a Christmas advent calendar there were several days where the box was empty and no product. This is obviously a massive disappointment to her as she looked forward every day to opening these in the morning. when I contacted boots they came back with several replies all of which very uncaring and very unfair such as bring the whole advent calendar back and we will refund part of your money. This is obviously not what I wanted as my daughter still had days to go of excitement before Christmas and opening the calendar. All I wanted was them to give me the missing days products for me to pass them onto my daughter. I assumed boot being a big supposedly reputable company would have done this no problem especially to a child’s advent calendar. I have some several times if they would be fair and make this right as I didn’t want to write reviews like this and go onto social media to warn people not to buy from them so they do not get disappointed in the future. I just received standard block answers probably copy and paste

Not very good don’t bother. Access code not written on prescription by optician Date can’t be read or signed optician has left so cannot get code until he responds which could be never. 2 day wait for code has gone to 5 untill manager is back in at which point I will pay for my glasses as I need them and send the bill to boots. There were also another couple in there complaining while I was there. Utter joke

I went into boots today and the only till that was open was at the pharmacy with a very long queue....I went out and then came back still no other tills open and the queue was even longer. I asked an assistant that I saw and he said I had to queue at the pharmacy. What as happened to this place it use to be a really good chemist with staff there to serve and help you. They need to get their act together as they are losing a lot of customers.

Visit Boots in Middleton once a month with repeat prescription. Pending on the time, you can be met with a long queue, taking more than half an hour to get to the front. This is due to a member of staff working rather slowly, usually she's on her own. Customers are always told "it will be 20- 25 minutes to process". If you leave Boots to do a bit of shopping, on return you join the never ending queue again. We jokingly say, they should provide small tables with chairs and drinks to pass the time. If another member of staff is on the pharmacy counter, there's never a queue.

What has happened to the staff? Long queues but only the Prescription Counter for everyone. Staff don't seem concerned. They don't care about customers who have difficulty standing. Used to be a good chemist.

When I finally found the item I was after the only till in operation was at the pharmacy which had a queue of at least ten people. If it was just a normal queue it would be fine but half of the people didn't have items in their hands so where of course after a prescription or some medical advice which means serving them would take at least two / three times as long. Too cut a long story short I put said item back on the shelf, went across the way to superdrug where I easily found the item I required, paid for it straight away as there were no queue and was then on my way. Boots need to open more tills
