   “I love my hair!” This is the comment from our 11 year old daughter who came to Look Ahead at very late notice with a head full of big knots following a lot of beach life and poor hair care. We honestly thought they would have to be chopped out. Alex at Look Ahead patiently picked his way through each clump successfully and after that Re-styled her hair. I would definitely recommend Alex and his team at Look Ahead.

   Alex was highly recommended to me. It is refreshing to find a stylist who listened, and in turn, was able to generate an excellent cut and blow dry. Five stars for sure - as in my opinion, he is on a professional par with the top London hairdressers (but without the hefty price tag!) The salon is well presented, very clean, and with Covid precautions in place. Ticks all the boxes!

   Visited this salon today very pleased with the results. Would highly recommend (have already done so to my mum and her friends who are local to the area). Alex spent time talking through best style for my needs also cut my daughter's hair, both at a very reasonable price.

   If I could give a 0 star I would. I booked "Festival hair" so 2 French plaits up the back of my head and 2 buns on top (I called before hand to ask if this hair style is something they could do, they said yes) Once seated the girl in there was struggling to do the plaits at the back of my head so I asked if having them on top would be easier, she said yes. After her struggling to do them on top she managed to do 1 really scruffy plait, I told her not worry ill just have the buns... another 20 mins later all she had managed to do is tie my hair in pig tails and brush them!! she even tried to use the what I call "doughnuts" to make doing buns in your hair a lot easier. She still couldn't get that right, she then went on to trying to back comb the pig tails and curl the hair back up on itself to create a ring, (it looked ridiculous) so after being sat in the chair for around 45mins I decided I have had enough and walked out. I would not recommend this hair salon as the staff struggle to do the most simplest of hair styles.
