Awful staff cant get through on phone takin piss when I need medication to help my condition says it open on a Wednesday when its not so they are lyin
Absolutely awful doctors surgery. The receptionists are abrupt, rude and haven't a clue about anything. You can't get an appointment even when you call at 8am there are no appointments left and the Secretary doesn't call back when she says she will and doesn't seem to have a clue.
An updated review of this GP after getting an appointment & speaking face to face with my new GP was not only helpful but reassuring. 3 ☆☆☆ Trying to get a consultant-prescribed medication from this GP for 3 weeks with promises from the Reception staff that someone would call me back. They are shut for lunch to do 'handover', but it doesn't appear they discuss patient's problems at handover as no phone calls were received from them. After 3 weeks of me calling in & phoning I was told I needed to see a GP. A bit pointless after 3 weeks of being without said medication.
As with all doctor's surgery, they are extremely busy and hard to get through to at times. However, the care you receive is much better than some I have attended. I lived down south for a while, and I can say, without a doubt, the care from this surgery is fantastic compared to some southern practices.

Shocking, receptionist very unhelpful and rude. Waiting for referal to hospital for a child took 3 months and several phone calls to get it sorted.
My wife took my 2 year old son in at 8:05 this morning as he is covered in a rash & couldn’t get through via phone. You’d think at that age that we could get an appointment to see a doctor. Reception abruptly turned them away & advised there’s no chance today & you’ll have to ring back tomorrow. Absolutely disgusting!! Ended up going Cavendish Court who advised the he’s got scarlet virus & requires antibiotics!!! …Oh & im still waiting on test results that were promised last Tuesday.
How can it be so difficult to get an appointment? It's ridiculous, you pretty much have to book an appointment before you need one. And the online system is useless as it only refers to the nurse & again, never anything available. We need a new surgery adap
The receptionist has been rude and unhelpful, not for the first time, to my 81year old mother in law. They won't put up with patients who abuse the staff which I fully agree with however, they need to teach the staff how to be polite and supportive to patients.
