   Visited TVALs today and I have to say that the nurse I saw, was friendly and extremely professional. She explained everything in detail for each step of the examination in fact she was a credit to the health centre and the NHS as a whole. The only downside is the size of the car park. During busy times you'll probably have to park on the street which isn't really an issue unless you have mobility problems. All in all, they provided a great service.

   Saw a nurse called ‘Judy or Judith’ (absolutely no offence meant) and what a knowledgable, kind, thorough, understanding and empowering woman she is… she reassured me, answered all my questions in detail and made me feel listened to..I had no idea what to expect on my visit but she made me feel so cared for I wanted to say a huge thank you. The building itself was light, bright, clean and modern… nice waiting area and friendly staff, they have their own carpark which was full (although not sure where all the people were!?!?) parking was available in the street so no problem.. The whole experience from referral to being seen was seemless. Thanks guys!

   I had to wait 1 month to get my appointment which was on Monday 28th November, to then receive a call 1 hour before my appointment, to tell me they have to cancel due to sickness. I was frustrated as I’ve waited a whole month for this very important appointment, to just get told it’s cancelled. They apologised and told me they will rearrange my appointment ASAP and they will call me back…it’s now been a week and I’ve heard nothing from them. I’ve tried calling and I get no response. This has honestly been an awful experience and the lack of communication and acknowledgement for their service is concerning.

   I’m so happy with the experience I had here. My first appointment the lady was a bit abrupt but I could tell she meant well. But on the day of my nail surgery, I had the most lovely team of people in the room with me including Andrea and another 2 lovely ladies, one of which did the actual removal. I was then helped so much, when I came back to get the dressing change, Andrea helped me put my shoes on and I thought that was so lovely because she didn’t have to do that :) All in all a really amazing experience and my toenails look great, they didn’t take too much off. And it’s healing great.

   Not a great experience, complete waste of time. Appointment was late, he didn’t bother looking at the problem and was more concerned with whatever was on the computer. He wasn’t very helpful and he gave me a foot file that you’d use on your heal, for my nail?! Would not recommend.

   I have seen someone different everytime. Been told something different everytime. 6 months later the problem is worse. Now I can hardly walk. I have tried to complain but they don't pick the phone up. Been back to my GP who has no clue that I've had any treatment as they haven't bothered to inform him.
