    Can not get appointments at this place you have to be dieing or over 75. The appointment I was allocated I've had for over 3 weeks now and symptoms got worse but you don't seem to care. And about the fact you are serving a population of 24k why take more patient on from oakleaf surgery that shut down if you can not handle the patients you already have. Your response will not cut it and therefore I will be making complaint. And about if I need to been seen before the 24 hour I should contact the doctors well did that this morning and got fobbed off.

    It took me three attempts and six months to get an audience with a doctor for my problem which has been ongoing for a long period of time. The doctor I saw was lovely and he even apologised but it wasn’t his fault that I had trouble getting the appointment. He helped me and was brilliant but the system that Riverside is using for patients to get appointments is ridiculous. You have toβ€˜apply’ for an appointment, which is passed for approval by the medical team whoever they are. If they think you warrant an audience they will either grant you a phone call or put you on a waiting list which can be a FOUR WEEK wait to see a doctor. But if you have an urgent need for an appointment you can ring in the morning between 8-9am but you can never get through. It’s ridiculous.

    Absolutely disgusting way you treat patients I had a sore throat and chest pain was treated for inflamed throat given antibiotics and tablets for gastric acid was told to go back week after if it hadn't cleared.it didn't clear up I rung doctor about my medication as I had chest pain and pain in my throat and jaw and arms was told doctor would ring me back.no phone call later on that day I had chest pain and the same symptoms again so in pain I walked to the surgery and asked to see doctor was told full to capacity and I could go to one of their clinics else where I said I'm not driving with chest pain was told again full to capacity and was told we can review you tomorrow.i begged to see a doctor was told again full to capacity and the receptionist could see I was in pain.walked back home in pain and dialled 111 out of hours doctor said he was very concerned and told me to go a and e well its a good job I did or I might have not been here the next day.i had suffered a heart attack and have had two stents fitted.at least out of hours showed some compassion towards me.where is your duty of care your suppose to be here to get people the treatment they need not just brush patients under the carpet like there nothing. Been out of hospital a week and rung and asked if doctor will put my discharge letter on the system so my I can order tablets when needed was told its on system ready for doctor to do still not done it's not the first time this has happened with riverside.

    Absolutely joke of GP practise, the waiting line is always ridiculous never less than 45 minutes and won't give put appointments for anything. Repeteadly turned away and said to call back in 2 weeks time and once again the appointments are all gone. Can't be bothered call or try again, at this point for the sake of my help I will go to private. Shame on the person who runs and supervise the practice

    I'm quite happy with the Surgery and staff they are very helpful I always sorted out my stuff with them and staff is very positive and cheerful thank you to all staff xxx

    I'm sure the staff are great if you could actually see/meet/speak to them,every time I phone I'm number 26 which is strange, that's approximately 30 minutes wait. Mine is just a general question about the flu jab and a review. I feel for the people who are really poorly. The Web site is poor as well.

    I am a new patient and have tried to make an appointment several times in the last month on the phone, but kept me waiting on all occasions for at least 22 mins. I have visited the Riverside to make an appointment with a specific doctor, to be told that there is a 3 week waiting list, as I need this appointment quite urgently, I asked if I could take it, the reply was - its too far in advance to book!!! so I need to phone early in the morning. Therefore, tried again today (Thursday 5.8.21), I called at 9.08 and kept me waiting until 9.45 for reception to answer and for me to ask whom I am speaking to, she then hung up on me. I was so frustrated after waiting that long. I tried immediately again to say that I was in a queue for 32 mins. All I need is an appointment to see a doctor, its very difficult for me to keep calling and waiting this length of time, due to my job. I think it is appalling that I can get to either speak with a doctor or see one. Our last doctor at Kiveton Park was amazing, so was hoping for the same standard. L Cato

    Terrible phone service! My daughter is 2 weeks overdue for her 8 week injections and I’ve tried countless times to get through on the phones for over half an hour at times and when a call back is requested we haven’t got it. The Riverside doctors at Retford has been the same. I refuse to believe that the receptionists are so busy that they can’t answer a phone call within half an hour!! Really unhappy and I will be going in to arrange the appointment and to inform them that their phone lines must be faulty.
