   I went into Icon hoping to get a last-minute hair appointment. Ruby the receptionist greeted me with friendliness and interest, and did her very best to get me in the next day. Thank you, Ruby! The salon is a lot bigger than it looks and satisfies everything I need in a hairdressers. The constant flow of coffee was very welcome! My hairdresser Mia was excellent. I never know how to explain what I want and Mia was able to translate my thoughts into exactly what I wanted. Mia is engaging, professional and extremely competent. I was looking for a hairdresser I could trust and Mia is now my 'go-to' stylist. I felt confident in her knowledge and skills. The finished style was fabulous and the cost affordable.    It’s always busy here, and I finally got to try it for the first time today. Ruby did my blow dry and gave me such beautiful curls — way better than I expected! It was also my first time using AVEDA products, and they were great. I’ll definitely come back to try another style next time.

   After trying a few hairdressers locally and not quite getting the wow factor I thought I would give Icon a try and I'm so pleased I did. After a thorough discussion on the phone I took the plunge and booked in. Before cutting Andrew had an indepth conversation about my hair type and hair habits, asked lots of questions and gave suggestions. I left feeling very happy with a wonderful cut and will definitely become a regular. I went back today for a colour with Miah, who was fantastic, really freindly. I had my hair washed by a young lady who is new to the salon and she remembered me from last week and was chatty and very nice. I definitely giving Icon a try.

   I’ve been going to Icon for about a year and a half now and trust Natleigh with my hair (cutting, colouring and styling!). She is clearly very experienced and lovely to chat to :-) also love the head massages when getting my hair washed! Would recommend Icon to anyone living in the area!

   Brilliant! I was looking for a new salon that felt independent, yet not overly pretentious or overpriced. Icon was just that. Andrew dedicated a generous amount of time advising on a style which worked with my thinning hair and how best to care for it's condition. The cut, which included a relaxing wash, was very thorough. I was offered a refreshment and the chat was first class, great tunes too! Fantastic all round.

   Really friendly staff. Great atmospheric salon to have a nice relaxing time to yourself and get our hair done. I've gone to so many salons around Kingston and Surbiton but never satisfied because the 'stylists' were never able to cut my short hair right. At Icon Andrew know exactly how to cut my hair after initial consultation. I think I've found my salon. If you're NHS staff you get a discount as well.

   I have been having my hair cut at Icon for many years. I’m lucky to have Julie Bartlett as my hairdresser. She initially had to correct a bad hair cut and grow out my extra short layers. Whenever I go into work after a cut my colleagues without fail comment on how fab the cut is and ask where I go. I chose this salon as they use Aveda products for hair and colouring which is kinder to hair. I enjoy having a catch up with Julie over complementary drinks ( when covid safe) and the salon has always kept to the covid guidelines current at the time. I’m lucky to get an NHS discount to but the prices are affordable without. Easy booking system online so you can book when you remember late at night !
