   Quite possibly the worse highlights I’ve ever seen, sadly they’re on my hair. Was in the salon close to 4 hours and had to have 3 lots of bleach as the first 2 attempts to do straight forward highlights left huge patches on my head, it looks like a slapdash mess. Not what I was expecting from a hairdresser with ‘over 30 years experience’. I was passed from him to his daughter who’s there on work experience who’s best talent was to soak the backs of clients clothing from supposedly washing their hair! My back got soaked, then I was passed to her to blow dry my hair where she just held the hairdryer above my head on the highest heat setting and just expected that to be ok?! My hair is now 4 shades of blonde, none of them are what I asked for. My fringe is now grey, the sides are golden yellow and the rest is a blend of over processed hair with a hint of blonde and just yellowy grey. It’s now costing me close to £200 to have this mess fixed at another salon in central. My hair has been falling out in clumps since my appointment, due to the extreme bleaching - using 40 vol on light brown hair was so much of an overkill. This guy might be used to coloring women’s hair but he certainly has little experience with coloring men’s hair. To top it off, he still had the gall to charge me! I’d avoid this place like the plague.

   Found Kick Hair on a google search, decided to take a chance on getting my hair done and I'm so glad I did, Dom is so knowledgeable and took one look at my hair and knew exactly what colours and techniques had been done before and what he felt was best way forward. The salon is super chilled and I felt that I was in safe hands!

   Delighted to discover this salon after reading all the 5 star reviews. Wanted the colour of my hair lightening, but not only was this done so well, the cut itself is the best I’ve had! Dom is so talented and modest, offering an easy going atmosphere whilst listening to your needs and having thr expertise to achieve great results! Price was also so decent. Definitely would recommend! Thanks

   Just had my hair coloured there, first time I had visited. Knew I wanted it lightly coloured, nothing too dramatic. Kristie showed me some photos on her phone, I chose a style and a lovely pink colour. I was entirely in her hands. The end result was much better than I had hoped for. She even gave me a quick trim. My husband and friends like it too. Even drew an unsolicited compliment from a young waitress in a cafe. I won't see 70 again so this was a pleasant surprise!

   I can't recommend Kick Hair enough. Domenic has been cutting my hair for over 20 years and I wouldn't have anyone else cut it. He's a very talented hair dresser, professional but friendly. He now looks after all my family's hair.

   I've been to Dom for haircuts for about 15 years and Kristie's been colouring my hair for several years too. I always love my hair and I often receive compliments from friends, family and complete strangers! My style has changed over the years - somehow they both manage to interpret my vague ideas and create something great! I wouldn't dream of going anywhere else.

   I have been a Kick Hair client for ages (or at least as long as I can remember!) and Domenic was so good at interpreting what I wanted, with excellent results. I suggested my daughter went to Kick Hair when she was struggling to find a 'hair identity' and she was delighted. Domenic has a delightful and patient personal touch and does his best to interpret my ramblings into a lovely haircut
