So glad I have found this salon, the staff are so lovely and friendly and it’s so nice to relax and have a coffee whilst being pampered. I always get my hair done by Cydney who is an expert in colouring, I am so happy with my balayage it’s blended really well, will never go anywhere else now!
Have been coming to have my colour and cut done by Sharna and Cydney since I moved here a few months ago. Best colour I've ever had, Sharna really knows her stuff when it comes to colour and she gets it exactly right. Love hearing all the brilliant advice they give to people in the salon, it's such a lovely atmosphere as well. Highly recommend it. But not too much as I still want them to fit me in :-)
When I moved to the area last August, I needed to find a new hairdressers. I've been coming to Salon 53 for nearly a year now, and I can't recommend Cydney highly enough! Her service is truly great, and she has completely transformed my hair. After experiencing significant hair loss post-op, Cydney provided incredible advice that went beyond just styling. She recommended a new hairdryer, a better shampoo, and even suggested giving up caffeine – all of which have made a huge difference. My hair is now healthier and looks fantastic! I genuinely look forward to my appointments; it's always a chance to sit down, relax, and enjoy the wonderful atmosphere. Book in advance though
I had the most amazing experience at No53. All of the girls there are so so welcoming and friendly. I was treated from the start like a “Queen”. I had shown a picture of what I wanted and Freya literally provided me exactly what was shown. I was worried a balayage would not take as my hair is coloured JET BLACK, but as you can see from the photos, this has taken beautifully. They are outstanding in my book…I’m absolutely thrilled and would never go anywhere else..
Best decision I made going to Freyja at No35! Completely transformed my hair! I won’t go to anyone else or trust anyone else with my hair. I highly recommend!

She is simply fabulous and always very helpful and makes me feel so comfortable. They are all so knowledgeable about the services they offer. I won’t go to any other salon.
Freyja created the bridal hair of dreams for my wedding last weekend and I can't thank her enough. Not only did she make me feel amazing, but she is also the most calming influence to be around on your wedding day. She absolutely nailed the brief and immediately got the look I wanted to go for. She is a true professional and a really lovely human being!
Had such a lovely experience here!! Cydney is so professional and always does her very best to achieve what you want. She makes such an amazing balayage look that works so well with my natural colour. She offers such good hair care advice as well and is lovely to chat to. The salon is so clean and pretty, it feels like such a treat to visit! I would really recommend! X
This is honestly one of the best salons around. All the staff are really friendly and professional. The atmosphere is calming but also has a buzzing and fun nature. Cydney is my usual stylist, she always does an amazing job on my hair with a cut and colour and always remembers our previous conversations. I've more recently started to have hair extensions and she never fails to impress me. I cant recommended this salon enough.
