Taylor did a superb job of fixing my curly-wavy hair following a disaster with a ‘curl specialist’. I LOVE IT. Also, the Christmas mince pie and Buck’s Fizz were much appreciated! Will be coming back. Thanks so much x
I had a great time at the salon. Taylor is very attentive and listens to your requirements, making sure you’re happy all the way through. The atmosphere in the salon is a happy one, the staff are so friendly, both to the customers and each other. The background music is at a good volume and it’s always great and modern songs. I’m very happy going to Headmasters New Malden.
I had such a great experience at Head Masters New Malden! The salon has a really friendly, welcoming atmosphere and you can tell the whole team genuinely cares about their clients. Poppy and Taylor are absolutely amazing both incredibly talented and professional. Poppy has an eye for detail and always knows how to tailor a cut and colour that suits me perfectly. Taylor is brilliant too so creative with styles and makes the whole experience relaxing and enjoyable. Every visit leaves me feeling refreshed and confident, and my hair has never looked better. I wouldn’t go anywhere else — highly recommend asking for Poppy or Taylor if you want the best results!
As I have naturally very curly hair and move from place to place a lot, I have had trouble finding a consistent stylist who does a good job with my hair. I tried Headmasters on a recommendation for a trim last year and it went well, but this most recent experience was what earned my undying love for the New Malden Headmasters in general and Ellie specifically! Everyone in there is amazing, but Ellie took my midlife crisis in stride and transformed my hair in exactly the way I wanted! I have normally kept my hair around shoulder length but it was in pretty bad shape and needed a drastic change which Ellie pulled off perfectly. The atmosphere of the salon is also amazing, with everyone being very helpful and friendly, constant offers of coffee/tea/biscuits, fun music and good recommendations for styling products etc. Definitely will continue going here for the foreseeable future!
I have been coming to the Headmasters in New Malden for about a year now and Ellie does my blow dry and colours my hair, she is amazing, I always trust her with my hair and she always knows exactly what i want. She is very friendly and welcoming.

I have been to Headmasters in New Malden for years. Great service from Lisa (previously Lee) and friendly reception from Jessica. They are the only hairdressers who can cut my curly hair well!
My son grew his hair long to be cut and donated to the Little Princess Trust and Louie at the New Malden site was AMAZING with him, cutting the precious donation well and creating a totally new style. All the staff were so friendly. Brilliant experience- thank you Headmasters!
I was desperatly looking for a hairdresser and I'm so glad I found this salon! As a first experience, I was very pleased with the service. Taylor was professional, patient and very focused on giving me the perfect haircut. Took her 2 hours to do my hair and it came out perfectly! Will definetly go back :)
