   I’m very disappointed with my experience. Around three months ago, and again last Friday, I called ahead to arrange braids for my daughter and her friends. On both occasions I was given a price and a specific time. Last Friday, I spoke to a man who confirmed that three 9-year-old girls could come in at 3:30pm for two plaits each, at £20 per child. We travelled all the way from Kingston to West London, straight after school finished for Christmas, paid for parking, and arrived as agreed — only to be told that there was a “misunderstanding” and that the shop works on a first-come, first-served basis. This was never mentioned during either phone call. When I explained this, I was asked to show my call log to check whether I had contacted the correct number. I did — the business name and address matched, and the call lasted just under 3 minutes, clearly enough time to discuss details. There was also no greeting or apology, just a dismissive attitude. Thankfully, we found a lovely braider a few doors down who welcomed us warmly, explained the wait clearly, and did a beautiful job. The girls were so happy they even gave her a hug. Sadly, I won’t be returning here. Clear communication and basic customer service go a long way — especially when parents are travelling long distances with children. The good reviews are totally misleading.

   ABSOLUTELY DO NOT RECOMMEND. This place has a lot of good reviews because of the male section of the salon. However if you’re going in for box braids or hair care this is not the place. They take several customers at the same time and end up leaving you hanging for hours (in my case 2hrs+) before finishing your head. They don’t listen to preferences and just want to get it done and send you off with a big bill regardless of the (poor) quality of their service. Additionally the place is not very clean. Awful.

   This hair salon has an unfriendly and cold atmosphere from the moment you walk in. The staff are rude, impatient, and abrupt, constantly speaking their own language and mocking customers. I’ve been going for under two years, but when I finally started to grow out my hair, I decided to try cornrows for the first time there. That’s when I fully realised what it’s like. The young girl who cornrowed my hair didn’t do a very good job. She rushed through and didn’t even bother with the back of my hair because it was too short. Even my mum, who isn’t a professional, could have done it. As a result, the staff laughed and mocked me in their language about how it looked, which I completely understand. To make matters worse, when I was having a fade, I told them not to trim the hairline because I had just recovered from receding hairline. However, he did cut it anyway. To top it all off, they charged me extra than expected. I’ve decided that I’m no longer going there. The bad customer service is unacceptable, and they don’t seem to care about their customers at all. They’re just focused on making money and speaking to each other in their own language. This place is old, dirty, and needs a refurbishment. There’s only one sofa to sit on, so I’m going to find an alternative place with better customer service.

   Been coming here for over 4 years to get a haircut and my hair braided . Service is immaculate very good vibe , very cultural. I always get my haircut from Dee who’s very very gentle and knows how to give a good haircut, and winter who’s also very good at braiding and knows how to conversate with clients which is very good!

   All staff are great but in my opinion Aida is the best, i only go to her, she takes extra care in what she does. Very professional and polite. My first time i didnt know what i wanted and her recommendation was on point!! Best in the business for sure!

   DO NOT GO THERE!! DISGUSTING SERVICE. RUDE STAFF AND DIRTY SHOP. Over-rated, over-priced and unprofessional. They always ask for cash only to avoid the tax man. They speak their own language and laugh at the customers while doing your hair and they make up all the prices on spot. They care more about the money than the the customer. They burnt, ripped and destroyed my hair with relaxer. I didn’t go there for 3 months. Stupid idea to go back to get a protective braid style. 3D is very hit or miss. I ended up paying £50 for normal straight back cornrow style. The girl rushed through the braids and did some braids shorter than some and some thinner than some. I told the manager I am not happy, and I need more extensions to make some braids longer to even out the hairstyle. The manager said I need to pay more to have it fixed even though it was their error. I WILL NEVER SPEND MY MONEY THERE AGAIN!! Total THIEVES!! Nasty, stink, dirty shop. Totally DISGUSTING TOILET. Health and safety and also the tax man better intervene in this deceitful and disrespectful so called business.

   Been here twice, first time they fixed an unprofessional mess my last hairdresser done after I left feeling proud and happy. The service was fast and professional. Second visit was to get my hair done by them for the first time from scratch! I can not express in words how happy I was! Would definitely recommend! They are so professional that even the smallest details count and their work is very neat! Not painful either!
