Arrived for an appointment ten minutes early and was unable to sign in which was strange so went to the desk to do so. I believe we couldn't sign in as they had allowed others in for an appointment who hadn't booked but for some reason are able to just get one. Sat waiting for over an hour and 15 minutes to get seen as they clearly don't care. The doctors close at 5 and we didn't get seen till 5.19 after we arrived and was booked in for 4. Honestly disgusting behaviour. There is no emergencies in doctors really and if there is they should go a and e not push everyone's appointments back to see them that is what A and E is for or a walk in centre as the name states.

Reception staff are always polite & friendly and if my children are ever unwell they always try their best to get them seen. They ring me back if needed and always strive to help - they aren't nosey receptionists, just people who care and ask questions to get the best help possible. The surgery is clean and spacious with plenty of seating and always receiving great care from all Drs & Nurses there. They are thorough and don't rush appointments.

I wanted to share my sincere appreciation for the receptionist at the doctor's office, a lady named Hazel. From the moment I called to book my daughter’s appointment, she was incredibly empathetic and understanding. My daughter has additional needs, and the receptionist went above and beyond to ensure that our appointment would be as smooth and comfortable as possible. I recently had a very disappointing experience at this surgery. The receptionists were very unprofessional. I waited patiently for 40 minutes before asking for an update, especially since a patient who arrived after me was already being seen. The receptionist, once again dismissive, told me to keep waiting and assured me someone would let me know what was happening soon. After waiting an additional 15 minutes, I approached the desk once more. This time, I was bluntly informed that they could not see me. When I expressed my frustration and asked why I had been made to wait so long without any notification, the receptionist, responded with sarcasm and continued rudeness. This experience was incredibly unprofessional and disrespectful. I will not be returning to this surgery and would advise others to consider alternative options where patients are treated with basic courtesy and respect.

Rang to have my prescription sent to where I attend university and when asked the postcode of where I wanted to sent to I asked her to give me a second to double check I had it right and the receptionist lady went on a rant about how my call wasn’t important. She stated about how there were people on the phone waiting who actually needed help and she told me to ring back later. In the time it took me to get the postcode she had been ranting for over a minute. Anyway, I rang back 3 hours later and a different woman answered I told her I wanted to change my pharmacy and she said “oh yeah you’re the post code girl” so the first woman had clearly been talking about me behind my back. It’s been over a week and after all that they sent my prescription to their pharmacy while I’m over an hour and a half drive away from it. Frustrated isn’t the word.

Tried to make an appointment as I had a temperature and suspected laryngitis. I was laughed at by the receptionist when I rang and could barely speak. She said it sounds as though you have laringytis and. When I asked if she could give me any advice. I was told I’m not a Dr and Don’t expect an appointment on the day you ring to see a Dr. How ridiculous. Ha ha. I then tried again the same evening as I felt so poorly. I was then told we have no appointments. Can get you in on the 4th November. Terrible experience with staff who are just not bothered.
