Horrendous experience. 45 minute assessment for them to decide there's nothing they can do for me. But because I'm not a danger to myself or anyone else, they don't want to help. So I'll just continue feeling dreadful, with crippling anxiety every single day, because the NHS, yet again, couldn't be bothered to help. God knows how they're stretched when they do NOTHING to help. It's an absolute joke and this is the reason so many people are struggling because there's no support out there for them. Thank you NHS talking therapies for making me feel 10000 times worse.

All RDASH services are a waste of time and public funding. RDASH doesn’t conduct diagnosis, treatment, they don’t prescribe medications (my gp practice is more competent in prescribing psychiatric medications than RDASH psychiatrist, who was an absolute disgrace of a person at times - also seen him only once). Their therapy appointments are a waste of time and energy.

Was told I couldn’t receive any help. This was after an initial assessment where they said I would be suitable for the sessions

My doctor told me about this, for my daughter that is Self-harming ect. To get a letter back saying. They couldnt help her, to which I find very disgusting.. so tell me this...where do you actually go for help these days as no one is bothered.

Incompetent. Appointment given for 1.15 for me and my child, first assessment. Appointment came and went, then received a text with a follow up appointment. I rang IAPT to find out why nobody had rung and why I'd been given a follow up appointment, 'well, the counselor spoke to you and has written the report, it's all on the system'...... Error no, nobody has spoken to me, 'well, it's on the system on record', we'll get it off there because that wasn't us, who the heck has the counselor rung, were any details checked.... NO. How the hell any of us are still alive or in our own mind is a mystery to me.

I received counselling via the form on CBT after being diagnosed with post natal depression when my son was 17 months old. I can only say that the advice and support was second to none and I am very happily out of the other side and living a healthy happy life again. Sue was exceptional with the treatment and I am so grateful to her for getting me through such a very difficult time in my life. Anyone needing support with their mental health - I cannot recommend Rotherham IAPT services enough - thank you.
