I went in with hearing loss and severe tinnitus ! The staff have always been amazing and when my hearing aids were first turned on and the tinnitus stopped I could have cried, the stress relief was unreal! The service has always been top notch and today I had a minor emergency and the lady answering calls went over and above to help me!
The overall service from the staff has always been excellent, but like the rest of the nhs services its a nightmare to actually speak to a person ,was on the phone 14 minutes so had to end the call has I'm at work,since 2021 and having a 14 billion pound debt squashed the entire nhs services have gone down hill regarding getting an appointment.

Having suffered a loss of hearing for the last 3 years and having extreme tinnitus, the staff here were exceptional! Unbelievable care, consideration and communication from the outset. I have my hearing aid now and feel quite emotional i have my hearing back! As I play guitar it's quite important! Thankyou so much to Mathew and all the team! Phenomenal!!!!
I attended the audiology service on the 9 August, masks are encouraged, and there is a lift for those who require it. I was seen by Rayna, an Audiologist and a short history was taken particularly on why I was there. She was so helpful and took her time to make me feel at ease. I was told I had severe hearing loss on my left side and would require a hearing aid, this was a shock but I was reassured by Rayna. She showed me her aid and I was impressed by the colour, so mine will be midnight blue. Rayna is a credit to your department her communication skills are excellent, I won't forget how kind she was to me that day.
I had an appointment this morning at 10 am .The young man named Adam was very profesional ,very polite and so very well mannered ,he explained everything to me about my new hearing aid I would wish you to pass this message on to his superior ,he was lovely .many many thanks .
Just had Microsuction done . I can hear so much better now! Nurse was amazing. Her clinical expertise was excellent and she was helpful, and interested. She had a lovely manner. So good to see this standard of practice still happening. Thank you.
Had a home visit today for a assessment with needing a new hearing aid, the audiologist, Matthew was absolutely fantastic, caring, understanding, patient and truly professional Thank-you so very much.
my wife had an ear infection and our gp surgery got nowhere in clearing it up, she was referred here and they were brilliant, the staff are amazing, if you have an ear problem forget your gp just make an appointment here, you can go direct to them you dont have to suffer like my wife did. brilliant facility.
