I had such a wonderful experience with Lincoln today! He was incredibly friendly and professional, and he understood exactly what I wanted straight away. The whole appointment felt effortless and enjoyable. I had a really pleasant time with him. The result is absolutely amazing and has made me feel brand new! I couldn’t be happier and would highly recommend him.
I recently visited this salon for a full head balayage, toner, haircut, and blow dry. I spent a good 10 minutes discussing exactly what I wanted with my stylist, Natasha, and showed her pictures for reference. Despite this, the results were nothing close to what I requested. I wanted my natural color throughout my blonde ends to reduce maintenance, but Natasha did my roots and ends so dark, and I was left with awkward "money pieces" that were about 1cm thick, leading to a sharp, unflattering contrast to the very dark roots that didn't match my natural color at all. Additionally, I was charged an extra £25 for products without any prior notice, despite already paying full price for the service and helping them with content! This hidden fee was both unexpected and unprofessional. I asked for a layered haircut, but the layers are so sharp and blunt that it looks amateurish and choppy. This completely ruined the look I was going for. As if the hair disaster wasn't enough, I was offered a makeup service by another stylist who was not even qualified. He used my makeup and another stylist's products, which resulted in an absolutely horrendous look. I genuinely thought it was a prank when everyone commented on how "beautiful" I looked. To top it off, I was charged £75 for this atrocity, supposedly discounted from £100. Charging for a service done by an unqualified person using my own products is beyond ridiculous. I reached out to Natasha to express my concerns, but she has ignored me for three days on two different occasions. Now, I am £310 out of pocket and have to pay another stylist to fix the mess they made. This experience was beyond disappointing and frustrating. I will NEVER return to this salon and strongly advise others to avoid it as well.
65 Walton is the only place I will go for my hair. The wonderful Melinda looks after me every time and her personable and profesional approach is unmatched. Every time she does my colour no matter what she creates it’s also amazing. I’ve never had so many compliments on my hair. It’s a real confidence boost seeing Melinda. I can’t recommend her and the team enough. :) x
The Aussie hairdresser we have all been waiting for - Lincoln at 65 Walton. I got a colour, treatment and blow dry, where he was also working with toning out a band from multiple bleaches. My hair looks the healthiest it’s ever been, and the colour is spot on. Lincoln has brought my hair back to life. Great service from Lincoln and the whole team. Only problem - I now have to tell my current hairdresser I’m leaving them for Lincoln.
Got my hair cut and styled today by Lincoln and he was truly amazing! He was so full of knowledge and experience, he was guiding me through what he thought would look best, and explained what products would work well on my hair outside of the salon. You can tell he has a high level of attention to detail. As soon as I stepped foot into the salon, Lincoln and the staff were super attentive and were so lovely. This was my first time coming to this salon, and definitely will be coming back to see Lincoln again as he made me look and feel like a million dollars.

Thoroughly enjoyed getting my hair done at Richy. From the ambiance to the highly professional staff. Daniel is a gem and is incredibly knowledgeable about hair. I was apprehensive getting my hair done here as a black woman but it turned out amazing. I definitely will be back!
