Booked me in for the wrong style, so I couldn’t get my hair done and didn’t apologies . Very poor customer service .
Do NOT come here if you have natural hair and want a style that’s not locs. The stylist completely destroyed my hair due her laziness and incompetence when detangling. I requested for my hair to be detangled from ends to the roots, and she refused to do this. I even asked for them to use a bigger comb, and they said it was the only one they had. I could hear my hair breaking as they combed it, and the stylist even hid the damage she caused by throwing my ripped hair into the bin. When I questioned the hair loss - they said it was due to my hair not being detangled before the wash and that they don’t detangle hair. This was never communicated to me, as any sane person would assume detangling hair came with a wash service. They then created a random upcharge of £25 extra when I requested my hair to be blow dried for my braids. I’m devastated as it’s taken me years to grow my hair to this length, the head stylist even complimented my hair before we started, but they decided to ruin it rather than admit they can’t complete what I asked for. I will be escalating this further to prevent this issue from repeating itself.
Love this place. I have been going there for years. Very friendly and professional staff. You are seen close to the time you booked. Prices are very competitive and the place is not too crowded. It is the best afro hair salon for hair re-twist I have been to.
One of the worst loctitians, I'd you can call her that. She cut my natural shoulder length hair while losing. I ended up with my hair above my ears. She used hair gels and oils that are the worst for TWISTING locs. NEVER AGAIN!!! Money hungry woman Tia is. Don't believe the hype. Very unprofessional and her energy is off. Be careful whose hands you have in your hair!!

Rude. Dismissive. Overpriced. Their work is very poor with no effort made. They don't care what the customer wants or asks for. They just want you in and out quickly whilst charging you as much as they can. Charged me for retwisting, even though they only washed it put it back. Its a complete joke. £50 for 15 minutes work.... Twice I've had this experience. So never again... this is why so many people stop going there.
Fast professional natural hair services at a reasonable cost. Michelle at reception is a delight to speak with when book and when arriving at the salon. Tia is also quite friendly and welcoming.
There was a younger person that works there she is very kind and there was a worker that washed my hair that was nice and complimented me...as soon I got to the stylist they’re rude ( no greeting,very dry, grumpy,mood and rude tone of voice,annoyed). This has happened a few times and I’ve heard one of stylists be rude to a customer be careful where you spend your money.
Terrible customer service experience in simply trying to book an appointment. I have used their service before - but for the life of me cannot understand how business can be conducted in such a nonchalant manner. In asking about salon hours, a misleading message was provided when looking into the latest possible booking times. Noting that I had a fair experience with the business prior to that call - I called back. On this occasion the music was so loud I couldn't hear the person on the other end. I explained - twice - that I was having an issue hearing them... The associate opted to shout down the phone rather than do the sensible thing of moving away from the speaker - or better - turning the music down. It appears I spoke to the same person from the day before, and that their attitude of helpfulness had remained. I pulled them up on the misleading information given, and typically a defensive response was issued. Nonetheless, having asked yet again - the attitude continued as I did my best to find a time that would suit my needs. I'm notably and extremely disappointed with this level of customer service. As much as the quality of the work done is usually of a high standard - the attitude is enough for me to provide a hearty 1 of of 5 stars, (being generous) on the basis of the basics. I will not be using this business ever again and would not recommend it to strangers, nor friends on the basis that the simple things are a good sign of how customers are viewed. AVOID - there are other means of getting your locks done in the area!
