   I"'ve had both eyes treaded at spamedica chapletown the nurses and surgeons are fantastic and put you at ease and explain what the eye surgery entails. The surgery does not cause paim although it is uncomfortable, it takes 20 minutes and it's done. I would highly recommend spamedica to anyone suffering with cataracts. Thanks SpaMedica you are all stars

   My mum recently had cataract surgery. From first appointment to last, she was treated with care and respect. She is highly delighted with the results of her surgery. There was always plenty of parking too unlike the major hospitals in the city. Would happily recommend to anyone needing to undergo eye surgery.

   I personally did not have a great experience here I felt I was fobbed off and you wasted my time, i got sent away with dry eye drops to use for 4 weeks to then just be told you can't do my surgery anyway. I have since been told I never needed dry eye drops in the first place. I have also since had my surgery done somewere else were I can't thank them enough I was well looked after and felt a personal experience were I was cared for unlike here.

   I had a disappointing experience at SpaMedica Sheffield. I found the receptionist and volunteer to be rude and unwelcoming, and I felt I was treated less fairly than other patients. However, the rest of the staff were professional. Fortunately, I later visited another SpaMedica branch where the team was kind and provided excellent care. The difference between the two branches was noticeable, and I hope the Sheffield branch can work on improving its approach to patient service.

   I would like to thank spamedica staff at smithy wood drive Chapel town for operating on my right eye yesterday the 31st January the staff could not do enough for me they was so good with me and I have to go back opticians on the 1st march to check my eye ant see if it's all OK and to see if I need my left eye done but thank you all so my and the surgeon for doing a wonderful job mrs m clark Hoyland S74 9QX

   Visited this private hospital earlier this week with my mother for a first appointment to discuss cataract surgery. There is plenty of car parking with spaces quite near the door for those with mobility difficulties. There is a lift to the first floor where the assessment took place. Waiting / assessment time was approximately 3 hours. Staff were friendly and supportive. My mother was given a cancellation date for two weeks time for her surgery which I thought was really quick and efficient.

   My dad is/was under the of SpaMedica care for cataracts. Great location and easy to get to just a min off the M1. Simple enough to find just look for the Yorkshire Water building. Dad has nothing but praise for the service provided. Dropped him off and they call when he is done (if it's a long appointment) never had bother parking up.

   Just had second cataract operation and both went very well. All the staff here were absolutely lovely making you feel at ease. The Clinic was well run very professional right from the initial assessment. The actual operation was over within no time at all. Post operative had no problems at all and looking forward to not wearing distance glasses. I would highly recommend SpaMedica.
