I have been to the surgery a number of times in the last few weeks since moving my mother in law to the area. At times I must have appeared to be a complete incompetent. Surgery staff have been nothing short of amazing in their support and advice. I can speak highly enough of reception and pharmacy staff have gone out of their way to support me. I had a phone call from the pharmacist today for a medication review and found the lady to be very knowledgeable regarding the medication that I am on. During the call I found information that nobody had ever told me in the past regarding stopping the medication during certain illnesses.
Not been with these doctors long but I think they are brilliant I can't thank them enough for everything they are doing for me and the receptionists nothing is to much trouble
Went for back pain due to curvature of the spine kyphosis which i have had over 20 years i finally went only to be told on the phone a week later by them good news we looked at your xray and there's nothing wrong with you we dont need to see you again goodbye. i im fixed if only i was not in pain 24 hours a day two days later form this phone call i was in so much pain i went to a&e for the doctor to see me and he said as soon as he looked at me you have severe kyphosis and will need major surgery i will give you now 2 shots of morphine right now to help with pain then you must go back to the same gp and request you need to be referred to a spinal surgeon at chesterfield royal hospital
they do not answer the telephone, twice now the surgery has asked me to call back and both times I have been on the phone for nearly an hour with no answer. therefore hung up. An extremely frustrating and pointless service
Really happy we joined this practice. Friendly efficient staff and phone answered promptly when we have phoned. Husband seen nurse twice no wait for appointment nvery different from our old practice.
75% of the times I have tried to contact the practice by telephone I get the same result. This is: Message - Music - Dialling tone - Silence. Sometimes this happens repeatedly until I finally give up. Surely I am not the only one to experience this. This is very frustrating when you work full time and luckily up to now, the reasons I have been trying to contact the doctors have not been about major health problems. When I have actually got through to speak with someone they are very helpful.
