Today I got my first perm, with Clare, I just say with absolute confidence I had the best experience with the best stylist I could have hoped for! Clare was so attentive, helpful and we had a great conversation! Cannot wait to come back! Thanks so much Clare!
It is my second time visiting the salon and I am not disappointed. My hair are so thick but Claire is there to really listen to what you expect. I have done a balayage, a cut and blow dry. I am so happy I have found a local hairdresser who truly understands what you are trying to achieve. Thank you.
After reading all the positive reviews I chose this salon for a complete restyle from bob to pixie. The lovely Claire handled my booking. Claire was bubbly and friendly and gave me some helpful advice. I was booked in with Donna who was absolutely amazing. I showed Donna a few pictures of the kind of thing I wanted and somehow she managed to get it spot on. I’m very happy with the cut and colour. I also met Brooke who was an absolute gem.
Donna did my hair today. Cut and blow dry. I was very pleased. She has a light touch and did my haircut really well! Pays attention to details. Definitely recommended and worth every penny!
Saw Claire today to get my grey roots banished, a toner on my balayage (which was also done by Claire in the summer) along with a cut and lovely 'bouncy' blow-dry. This is my 3rd visit to the salon and it didn't disappoint. Claire is a very talented colourist and stylist. I've been to a number of salons over the years and I've never really been 100% satisfied with the end result until now. Would highly recommend!

I am so thrilled with the service at Divas & Dudes! I have very difficult curly hair and Claire managed to get it so silky and shiny where most hairdressers I have been to really struggle. I wasn’t sure what I wanted but Claire did such a lovely cut with layers and picked out a beautiful colour and it looks amazing!!! Both Claire and Donna made me feel so welcome, best hair salon I’ve been to by far and can’t wait to go back! Thank you both! X
Went in to have a consultation about taking my light peachy blonde hair silver. Met with Hannah who said it would look lovely and her and Donna said the look was very achievable, Hannah talked me through the process and I booked in. Come appointment day, I left the salon near tears. I now have brown hair with dark grey highlights on the bottom half of my hair and an unfortunate violet ring about 2 inches from my scalp. When I mentioned to Donna that this was not the colour I asked for, she became rude and condescending. I was told I was silver and my hair was lighter than the reference picture I showed her (which was icy silver hair) she then said I wouldn't have been able to get to that colour in the first place - in which case, why was this not mentioned to me in consultation? Hannah very kindly said she would book me in for next Saturday to try and fix the issues at no extra cost as she said she was not happy with the end result either (particularly the violet ring, which we were all a little baffled at) however Donna seemed quite against this and told me it would basically be a re-do, insinuating that I would have to pay again, come next week. I then felt incredibly pressured by Donna to pay £142 for the colour that I was not happy with before she would book me in for next week. I paid then left the salon near tears, feeling incredibly upset about the money I had just given over and had saved for a while so I could get my hair done professionally. Later that afternoon I decided I wanted a refund as I was really not happy with the results but would be happy to pay the full amount should the problems be fixed at my next appointment. I did however, feel very intimidated by Donna and am slightly ashamed to say my nan went down in my place to ask for a refund. Donna was again incredibly rude and said if I want a refund she would rather me not come back to the salon again and kept £25 for the 1.5cm of hair that was trimmed at the appointment as part of the offer when booking with Hannah (complimentary cut with any colour). I will not be returning to the salon as you have asked, Donna and will instead find someone else to fix my hair. I will say though, that Hannah is a lovely hairdresser, very amiable and does have very good technique. I have no doubt that on someone else, the colour would look lovely, however it is not what I asked for and I was made to feel like it was by Donna and that if I wasn't happy it was my own fault and my problem, which is not the professionalism nor the quality of service I would expect from the owner of any salon and I sincerely believe that Donna should take a few examples from Hannah as to how to speak with customers.
Donna is the best! I love my new hair! When she did my highlights she used olaplex so now my hair are not damaged at all and super shiny! Thank you so much. Can't wait to go back maybe for a spray tan too next time! :)
