   Came here when I thought my eyes had gotten worse, left feeling a bit annoyed after being told no difference and that i didn’t need glasses “technically” … decided after a few months of this app I still wasn’t right I couldn’t even see my TV at home. Went to a different Specsavers in the area and SHOCK my eyes are twice as bad as when I got my first pair of glasses (4years ago). Not only this my left eye is SO bad that when the gent removed the lens I could no longer see the letters at all (looked like a plain white screen) and I thought he was joking until he told me it wasn’t a lens it was in-fact just my eye! I don’t know what went wrong here but I would not waste my money getting a check up here again.

   Great place, great staff that are very happy to help. Got 2 pairs of glasses for less than £100! Went to Boots and got quoted over that for just 1 pair of glasses. They have a better range at Boots, but Specsavers have the saving part that is in their name.

   The staff at the Armthorpe branch are always extremely helpful and friendly and nothing is too much trouble. They explain everything in a professional manner and check on you making sure you don't require further help. I used to go to the one in the town centre but they always seemed too busy to help. I'm glad I changed to Armthorpe. I definitely recommend it for everyone.

   I visited Specsavers at Armthorpe for the first time to have my eyes tested and to purchase new every day glasses and prescription sun glasses. I was extremely happy with the service received especially from Amber who took her time to explain the different options and helped me choose my frames. I will definitely use them again and would highly recommend them.

   First set of glasses totally no good told to come back in three days to see someone with more experience only to be told needed different lenses and they would be £205 more six weeks later still no glasses should have gone elsewhere
