   Arrived 10 minutes early for my booked appointment at Specsavers and provided my name and DOB at the counter. I was then told my optician had been sent home due to sickness and that I had been notified. I checked my phone and email and had received no message at all. Staff confirmed my contact details were correct but said their system showed I had been informed. I was asked to rebook, but there was no apology for the lack of notice or the wasted trip. Given that several staff were standing around when I arrived, the situation felt poorly handled. Clearer communication and basic courtesy would have made a big difference.

   Good friendly service at a reasonable price. Shop was clean and bright. Staff where knowledgeable in their fields, and prepared to explain things if you where unsure. Appointments were also prompt and comfortable chairs in the waiting areas.

   I would definitely recommend going to this Specsavers. I had an eye test a couple of weeks ago and the process was very smooth. The doctor was helpful and thorough in explaining everything and the other workers there were also lovely.

   I have been going to this Specsavers for years now and I have never had issues, now more than ever the staff are friendly, prompt and helpful. Cleanliness is top notch and variaty of frames are vast. Luckily my other half has her 2 yearly check ups about a month after me, so she is lucky enough to get my gold ticket at 25% off. Really helps.
