   I've been coming to Barbara’s for over 20 years, and I always walk out happy with my hair! It’s a friendly, welcoming salon where all the staff make you feel right at home. Caroline is the life of the party , she brings such great energy to the shop. Highly recommend!

   No idea how this place has so many good reviews, obviously friends. My wife came home from this salon after having her hair done, and honestly, I can see why. The cut is choppy and uneven, and the colour looks rushed and poorly done. Not what you expect from someone claiming years of experience. She said the stylist barely listened, seemed more interested in chatting with others. For the price charged, you'd expect a professional service, not what felt like a quick job just to get her out the door. It’s starting to feel like this salon has been in the village too long and is relying on old habits rather than keeping up with the times. Maybe it’s time to consider stepping back. We’ll definitely be trying one of the newer salons next time, they seem to have more pride in their work

   My friend went here just before Christmas and it was shocking! Really bad haircut, old fashioned and very poor customer service. Stylist was being a gossip and not professional at all. Friend really shocked!
