The staff are friendly, and the one of the main advantages I see of Cut N Shave versus the nearby competitors is the significantly shorter wait times. Prices have been increasing unexpectedly and quite frequently. Skin fade went from £15 to £16 in a couple months. Then in a few more months' went to £18. Everything is going up. I also noticed in the past that they have a card machine but often force the customers to use cash. They tell the customer to go withdraw cash. Luckily that hasn't happened for quite a few months now, as I believe it was one particular staff member who was quite pushy. Rest of them are okay. I understand cash might be better for them because of transaction fees, but ultimately customer experience and convenience is an important factor and will improve customer retention. All the women's salons have booking systems and card machines, so the men's barbers need to take a lesson from women's salons when it comes to customer service. In short, LET CUSTOMERS USE THEIR BANK CARD. It's standard practice and a small cost to the business. If you really want to save money then maybe don't spend thousands updating your interior fixtures every couple years. Customers are not interested in fancy interior. We just want it to be clean and welcoming. The other annoying thing is that the prices are not clearly displayed anywhere, other than on an obscure and old looking piece of A4 paper with small hand written font, cellotaped to a small wall which is recessed behind the till area. Seems almost like they don't want customers to see the prices until they get to the till. For the management team, please display the prices clearly on the front window. If you can spend thousands changing all your interior fixtures, then surely you can spend 20p to print a piece of paper. That being said, they have a loyalty card where you get 1 free haircut after every 9 haircuts you pay for. That's a good advantage over the competitors and it's why I've been coming here for a couple years. One other downside of Cut N Shave is that the quality of haircuts is inferior to some of their competitors. Cutmasterz is better quality. For example, the fades are not always as clean, and often the staff forget to blend the beard and have to be reminded. If the staff can be trained a little bit better and provide higher quality fades, that would make it more reasonable for the price. To be fair there are some staff who are very good with the fade quality. But it's all down to random pick of the draw. Depends on who you're being served by. My current view is that for day to day haircuts where I don't care too much about impressing people, I'll go to Cut N Shave. If I need to attend a wedding or important event, I would go to the competitors. I know I've mentioned a lot of downsides, but overall it's still okay. If you're not too picky about the fade quality and care about pricing, I would recommend Cut N Shave, especially if you use the loyalty card.

Today I been with my son to this shop to cut your hair and I saw there is price was displayed on the door 7£ for hair cut so my son cut first very normal and simple and than I go to cut the same simple hair cut both hair was normal Believe me very simple. After finished I thought I have to pay 14£ to them but the one of the employees asked me for 22£ for both normal hair cut make me very very disappointed me on the spot feel very bad and I asked the employee who take my money on your display is returned 7£ and why is so different he don’t explain me properly and he give me the card and said call to the manager and asked I call the manager and I asked him and he explain 7£ is starting for normal price and I don’t get my answer what I asked. Only reason all people before entering this shop please ask for the price before cut your hair this is not a same price what you see on there and I will never go this shop again never in the future.
