Had my first haircut here today with Zak and was really impressed. The place has a great atmosphere and top-notch facilities. Raff, the manager and owner, was also very welcoming. I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend it.
Easy 5 stars - I got the shape up, the fade and my beard trimmed which I'm very happy with. Appreciated the patience Zak showed while trimming my hair with my braids in, where I've had problems with other barbers in the past. I'll be going back for this same haircut again.
I have been visiting M and R barbers for at least 8 years now. Myself and my son have a re-occurring appointment with Raff or one of his skilled barbers. I have found the staff patient and accommodating with regards to my own time keeping and the temperament of my once toddler-aged son. Raff is passionate about his craft and engaging in conversation. I have enjoyed the beverages on offer during my many visits. I find the process almost automated due to the ease of picking a slot on the app and a barber waiting upon our arrival. We have regular haircuts and I have now added a beard trim to the booking. My father-in-law who lives in the north of the country still books in to see Raff during his regular visits(which is a review unto itself) There is always a smile on our faces leaving the barbers due to its relaxing environment and quality haircuts. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend M and R barbers to anyone in the Guildford area.
Absolutely delicious own brand coffee and a very tempting array of cakes and pastries. A comfy space and friendly atmosphere. I'll definately come again and bring friends.
We have been taking our son to Raff for a couple of years now and even though we moved well out of the area we still go back to M&R barbers. Our son is autistic and finds the experience very stressful anywhere else but with Raff, he gets a great cut and actually enjoys the experience! Friendly, calm and an excellent job. Couldn’t recommend highly enough.
Quality. Great looking place. Wandered in whilst passing needing a trim. Usually need an appointment but they were very accommodating and managed to fit me in. Very nice people and a top cut. Very impressed and will definitely use again when I'm back in the area.

I took our two boys (aged 5 and 6) for haircuts here and I am very impressed. They listened to what I asked for and gave excellent haircuts that really suit the boys. This is now our barber of choice in Guildford. Please note that they use an app for booking (details on the website) and don't answer the phone when they are busy. It's worth using this to make sure they have you booked in.
Just had my haircut from here and it's the best one I've had in a while. The staff were very pleasant and chatty. Will recommend to all my friends
