We visited Forge Mill Farm on August 31st and it was the perfect end-of-summer treat. This farm is much more than just a place to see animals, it's a comprehensive family destination. The variety of activities is fantastic. Kids loved visiting all the animals (so many rare breeds!) and taking the time to explore the beautiful sunflower farm. For the kids, the outdoor play area is fantastic and free, which is a brilliant bonus. We also utilised the new indoor soft play area (Natural Play Barn) when we get tired. The farm does a great job offering educational opportunities for kids and the café was a convenient spot for refreshments. A quick note to the community, I saw a few people hopping over the grass wall to enter without paying from the side roads. The entry fee is so reasonable, it's not thousands of pounds! Please support this wonderful local business by paying the small admission fee. They clearly invest the money back into maintaining these amazing facilities for everyone to enjoy. Opening Time: 10:00 AM Closing Time: 4:30 PM (Last entry 3:30 PM) Note: On our specific date, there was also a special 'Sunflowers at Sunset' event running later! Standard Admission Fees: Adult: £5.50 Child (2-14): £6.50 Under 2s/Registered Carer: FREE Natural Play Session 'Add On': £3.00 Highly recommend Forge Mill Farm for families. It's truly a five-star experience with something for everyone!

Visiting every year for pumpkin picking ! A couple of years ago we tried another place but nothing around is better than Forge Mill Farm. It's a complete experience, loads animals (you can feed and pet them ), a softplay, a outside playground, food stalls, activities and much more.. it makes a great day out for the kids !

We've been visiting Forge Mill Farm for years as we're walking distance away. It used to be a small enterprise with a simple outdoor play area and opportunities to see some cute farm animals. Recently they've massively upped their game so it's even more worth a visit and such good value for money. We've done their lambing and sunflower events in the past and both were wonderful. Today we went to their pumpkin picking patches and they have done such a good job with the indoor and outdoor areas - so many photo opportunities! You can buy varied different squashes as well as the pumpkins but there's no obligation to and the pumpkin areas are included in the general entry. They've also opened a new cafe and indoor play area which is so impressive! We will continue to enjoy many more trips here as our little one grows up.

Lovely farm park, low cost but plenty to do. We visited to see the Sunflower fields but small play area, gift shop which sells drinks and ice creams. Plenty of animals to see, alot of cattle, the odd duck. Food available to feed the greedy goats. Other activities avaliable on site for extra expense such a pizza making. A good few hours can be spent here, advise taking a picnic

Had a lovely few hours here Saw and fed the sheep and goats. You can buy special food there. Loads of hand gel everywhere for you to wash hands. Went to the sunflower field the sunflowers were amazing Took lots of pictures and we picked some to take home ( you did have to pay for those ) Staff were all really helpful and friendly. Disappointed that there was no where to have food although they did sell soft drinks and ice cream Would recommend you take a picnic ...there are lots of tables and seating dotted around. Great little place we had a lovely time.

First time I had went to Forge Mill Farm and it was a lovely experience. I believe it was the first year they had offered pumpkin picking too which was why I went there. Me and my family had a lovely time there and full of photo opportunities. The farm animals were lovely too and it’s a great place for families with children. There were plenty of pumpkins to choose from. Although it’s not proper pumpkin harvesting, more rather picking a pumpkin off the floor it was a good experience. I believe the pumpkins had a price range starting from £2.50 for a medium one to £3.50 for a large one. There was a sunflower field which they advertised as spooky sunflower trail. Which in person it was more a dead sunflower field. Overall a good short day out.
