   As a regular user of this shop for many years, I am starting to think about shopping elsewhere. As someone who finds shopping incredibly stressful anyway. When in home bargains birchwood, am finding the staff are putting items through the checkout whilst your still unloading the trolley. They are waiting for payment before you have even had time to pack the shopping. I've had to start dumping all the shopping in trolley and then packing it into bags outside the shop as there nowhere in shop to pack it. I really think staff should have to wait for customer to load all items before the store assistant starts to put the items through the till. It's basic manners and consideration to the customer to do this and would make shopping on home bargains a better experience. Store assistants never use to do this, they use to wait until most shopping was on the conveyor belt. It really does make the customer feel rushed. Hence I have knocked 2 stars off and only given 3 stars as this is major downfall in how the store operates

   Decent variety of stock, they now have a freezer section too. Can get pretty much got everything that you need/want. Some staff are really smiley looking, but all of them are helpful though if needed.

   Bigger store than our Stoke-on-trent branch. Good selection of products. Even sell some frozen items. Great prices. Enjoyed having a good look around and buying some great value items.

   What a great shop this is. The stock is usually steady and every week there are various different versions of craft beers at sometimes bargain prices. The goods are mainly non edible but the smaller fresh food section has adequate variety. Prices are as good of not better than all the shops in Bwood Centre, and that includes the 'pound' shop on numerous items. Another good feature is that there's always a helpful member of staff about for advice or guidance. The store has a great variety of goods and is not too big a place that you'll feel like you've been on a hike by the time you reach the tills, or that you'll lose the person(s) you went in with for too long. Altogether a nice well stocked user friendly place with bargains galore!
