Probably not the best Asda ever, but a polite and helpful staff member went out of her way to find me a sachet of bread sauce. Therefore saving Christmas!
Regular customer at Asda. After gym I mostly shop there in the morning. Today 06/12/25 around 08:30 I shopped at self checkout, customer service lady Sandra was there. I paid with cash, used my Asda rewards card as always. While I was approaching to the door, a male security man with rude face was pointing his finger towards me saying HEY YOU didn’t pay. When I arrived close to him, I asked: DID I DIDNT PAID? He replied with loud tone YESSSSSS YOU DIDN’T PAY. I showed him a receipt and asked who told you that I didn’t paid? He replied YES YOU DIDNT, told by self counter lady (name SANDRA). Then I offered him to check my bag and find a single item which I didn’t paid. In the mean time lady Sandra called him and said him to let me go as it was an error. I don’t mind getting check but the behaviour is not acceptable. From today I stop going in that store. ASDA AT Cockhedge center.
Store is amazing but the female security guard has something against young people she will give you the most disgusted face she can possibly do and stare you out as if you stealing… and even if we was she’s out of breath getting out of the chair so why stand up anyway and make life uncomfortable for us all when she can clearly see we haven’t stolen anything on the cameras she gets payed to watch not the phone she’s on all day texting
I am an Asian customer with limited English, and I had a very disappointing experience at Asda Warrington Superstore. I purchased an Amazon gift card worth nearly £200 and opened it immediately after payment to ensure it worked. To my shock, the claim code inside was already tampered with – two characters had been cut out. This clearly meant the card was unusable. I asked Asda staff for help. A manager and staff member looked at the card but refused to refund me or properly assist in contacting Amazon. After almost an hour of waiting, they only asked me to leave my details, and eventually, security was called to remove me from the store. I understand this might not be directly Asda’s fault, but as a loyal customer I expected real support, not to be dismissed. The lack of responsibility and care was deeply disappointing, and it left me wondering if I was treated this way because I am Asian.
Baby change was locked so went to ask a staff member who looked at me like I have 5 heads and said I had to que at the customer service/ciggies for a key. My baby had a poonami so I ended up changing her in my car. Absolutely disgraceful when a staff member could have got it to help me but obviously too much to ask!
Lots of choices for food, fruits and vegetables. Also there's lots of clothing choices for all the family from a new born baby up to elderly family members.
big store, almost everything is there, good offers, lots of self checkout, staff is really nice. there are other shops around the area. their foodcourt is nice also
Terrible store and Terrible staff. Rude isn't in it,and what gives a sales assistant the right to rummage through your shopping bags whe you are stopped for a "quality check" on self service? Shocking.

This place is awesome! They got pretty much everything. It's so big on the inside that one afternoon looking around wasn't enough for me. If you have a party to throw, this is the place to be! So much sweet, choc and (stylish) birthday cakes to choose from. I basically just love this superstore. Only their price calculation of the Meal Deal was a bit confusing at first when I came here.
