   I wanted to take a moment to thank Angela and Harry at Martin & Co for their outstanding service. Angela looked after our property while we rented it out, and she was absolutely brilliant. She went above and beyond to organise tradespeople whenever anything needed attention, and made sure that everything was handled promptly and to a high standard. She also ensured our tenants were well looked after, which gave us real peace of mind. When it came time to sell the property, Harry managed the sale, and everything went perfectly smoothly from start to finish. I honestly can’t thank them both enough. I would highly recommend Angela, Harry, and the whole team at Martin & Co — they are exceptional!

   From our initial enquiry, through referencing, contracts and onboarding, I have found Martin & Co York to be one of the most professional and well run estate agents in the UK. We relocated from Wales and did our research into the competitive rental market in York, spending many weekends in the city looking for the perfect place to raise our small family. After speaking to several agents who were either too “keen” for the sale, or simply didn’t get back to us all, Martin & Co held our hands back into the rental market from first contact. Since moving in, the house has received somewhat of a renovation by the landlords, which we knew would be happening and we proceeded with the contract regardless. However, the contractors have proven difficult. Not a problem for Martin & Co York’s property management team, Nathanael in particular. He has always been a pleasure to speak to and resolved absolutely any and every issue we’ve encountered. Nat is a real asset to this agency, helping us to feel safe in the knowledge that any issues are already being taken care of.

   Moved into our new property through martin and co in August. Since then, we’ve had nothing but issues with the current property and they don’t seem to care. Had to constantly chase them about ongoing damp which still hasn't been resolved. The property was filthy when we moved in, no clean done between tenants, no maintenance of white goods as washing machine had mould growing throughout. Windows were painted shut. All of the issues i have raised have been ignored by both martin and co and the landlord. Called today about an emergency leak through the ceiling into our dining room. Told they are closing in a couple of minutes and will get someone out tomorrow. They have been no help at any stage since moving in, typical letting agency taking a fee from the landlord but not actually managing anything other than your rent.
