   I don’t usually leave reviews, but this one deserves it. I travelled a bit to get to West & Hunter, and I’m really glad I did. The space has a calm, clean vibe the moment you walk in. The receptionist greeted me with such a warm smile and set the tone with a really soothing hair wash, honestly one of the most relaxing ones I’ve had. I had my cut with Zamaine, and he genuinely impressed me. I’ve got slightly thin hair and I’m quite particular about how it’s shaped, and he got it exactly right. He listened, took his time, and his skill really shows. He also explained how to maintain the style so it holds its shape naturally, which was super helpful. Walked out feeling confident, clean, and very myself, which is the best kind of haircut.

   As a local west and hunter has been on my radar for quite a while to visit. I had been growing my hair from December and decided it was time to give it a little tidy, so finally thought I would bite the bullet and go. I was not disappointed! For years I’ve had sub par haircuts and often left not feeling great but not this time! If your someone who’s a bit anxious about getting their haircut and want to go somewhere where they listen and develop your ideas into a reality then I can’t recommend west and hunter enough. I will 100% be returning next time I decide to cut my hair. Amazing experience from beginning to end. Special thanks to Shadia!

   West and hunter was recommended by friend, however the experience was beyond my expectations, the service was something I have never experienced with any other gentlemen grooming club, I was walked through the whole process and I must say I never had a quality haircut and guide on how to maintain my hair. I highly recommend this place a real game changer, most talented and experienced barber by far! I booked the bespoke haircut and beard maintenance was a great experience

   West and Hunter barbers on Chiswick High Road is the best men’s barber in Chiswick by far! I’ve lived in the area for 15 years and tried the others and won’t use anyone else. The salon itself is more like a West End members club with sofas and a bar (they even sell cigars!) and I’m always welcomed by name offered a drink when I arrive which is very welcoming and a lovely touch. The barbers are all excellent and understand what will work for me, which is really useful as I like to have styles recommended. On occasion I have had a facial too, which is a real treat as they are very good at them and leave me feeling a decade younger! My only sadness is that I can’t grow a beard to have them tend to it but I see their other customers having theirs done and they always look great. West and Hunter have turned a chore into a pleasure for me and I look forward to my next visit. If you’ve read this far you should try them yourselves, you won’t be disappointed. I have just seen all the awards they’ve been winning, well deserved!

   Guys, this was hands down the best experience I've ever had at a barber / hairdresser. I'll be honest, I'm not normally one that enjoys a haircut - but this experience changes everything. From the personal greeting when walking in, to the care taken when getting a hair wash or style advice, the G&T during the haircut or even the atmosphere they've created inside - the team are the most professional and attentive I've ever seen, I look forward to visiting them for my next haircut. In addition, the value is brilliant. Cheaper than the overpriced mainstream salons / hairdressers I'm used to visiting, and you are getting far, far more for your money. I've never felt the need to tip for a haircut but did on this occasion. The only reason not to recommend this place is to stop it from becoming so popular I won't be able to book my next haircut! I can personally recommend West & Hunter and guarantee you won't be disappointed.

   Zaimain and the team and West and Hunter offer an exceptional experience from start to finish. From walking through the door to leaving with a fresh cut, they are respectful, courteous and extremely knowledgable. Before I got in the chair, Zaimain sat me down on the couch with a beer and asked a couple questions about what I would like to achieve, and how often do you usually cut your hair, as well inspecting what type of curls I had (v important for us curly haired people and never once had this in any other barber!). It’s a great vibe, super laid back and lovely interior, and they do their best to make you feel at home as possible. Couldn’t recommend their service enough, the adage “you get what you pay for” definitely rings true here, and my haircuts have lasted a lot longer since coming here (now a haircut per month as opposed to once every 2 weeks). One extremely happy customer indeed that has found the best barbers in the area!

   I travelled a few miles to get here (past a lot of other barbers) and I'm really glad I did! The atmosphere walking in was really relaxed and welcoming, it felt like coming into a hotel or member's club. I was immediately made to feel welcome and that there was no need to rush. I'm really happy with the haircut I got and will definitely be coming back. Certainly a place that's worth travelling to visit!
