Barbershop was solid — everyone there is welcoming and the staff are proper easy-going, no weird vibes at all. You can tell they all know what they’re doing. Adam sorted my trim clean, sharp finish, exactly how it should be. The whole place has a good, relaxed vibe. Defo the spot I’d hit up from now on and you should to.

Had a haircut from Adam. It took 2 hours and a half to cut my hair and beard. Felt like they were trying to sell me things constantly, like at the end of the haircut, they just assumed I’d take the shampoo, and was trying to book me in for as soon as a came back from my holiday. Showed a picture and a video of what I wanted. He cut too high up on the side of my head - don’t even think he looked at what I showed him. Would expect more for £50, at least be able to give the same cut as a reference photo.

Been there a few times, a group of very well trained people who can do anything you ask for! Always got what I wanted plus more, they cut your hair then give your advice on how to keep it nice whilst recommending the right brands for you.

Great experience at Stag Salon. The team is friendly, professional, and clearly know what they’re doing. The space has a relaxed but polished vibe, and they really take the time to listen to what you want.

I had an appointment today for my 16-year-old son at 2:30 PM at The Stag Gentleman’s Grooming Salon. However, he was only taken in by the barber, Sav, at 3:00 PM — a full 30 minutes late. The haircut lasted exactly 30 minutes, and at the end we were charged £30, even though they state £20 on their website. According to your official description on the Fresha website, the service “The Boy’s Club” is clearly listed as 30 minutes for £20, specifically for boys aged 16 and under. My son fits within this age group, and the service duration matched the listing. Still, Sam refused to honour the stated price and insisted on charging £30. Furthermore, your online booking system requires customers to provide credit card details in advance and warns that if clients are late, a 50% fee may be charged. However, in our case, it was the salon that was late, and we were overcharged, with no explanation or apology. When I attempted to pay by credit card, I was told that card payments were not accepted — which is very confusing and inconsistent, given that credit card details are mandatory for booking. This experience was highly unprofessional and deeply disappointing. I had expected better service and integrity from an establishment that presents itself as premium. I hope they honor their their promise they stated clearly on their website.

I have possibly the most important event of my life coming up and I thought let me go somewhere with "good reviews" to get my hair and beard done. I was booked in with a guy called Sam for about 1hour and 15 minutes. He did my hair fairly alright but even that, looking at the fade now, you can clearly see the steps and it hasn't been faded smoothly. But that wasn't the worst part, the guy absolutely massacred my beard. I usually NEVER let barbers touch my beard and I really should have stuck to that, but I thought, "this place looks proper so I'll risk it." Biggest mistake of my life. I got patches in my beard now, I asked the guy to keep the angles in my beard to maintain the "boxed" look and he just trimmed it right down with scissors and made it look really round. Given the fact that it took him 1 hour 15 minutes and plus the fact they charge nearly 4 times a standard barber shop I would have expected a much different result. In the end he gave me 50% off the beard cut, and even that i had to ask for, he should have said im terribly sorry, this ones on us. I paid £30 instead of £37.50. This isn't an exaggeration, but I've had a £10 hair cut in 30 minutes that was a WAY better result. Super disappointed. Will not be going back.

really good team That work here, we coming and very clean. I like it . Only downside is that I have t got much hair to cut, considering that, it’s a fairly pricey place. Highly recommend for someone who is sensitive about there hair or someone who enjoys the finer things in life. Definitely the most prestigious barber in the 3/4 mile radius

Both my son and I have our haircut here by Andy Sarsby, and I can’t say enough good things about him! His professionalism and genuine enthusiasm for his trade is without equal, and our hair has never looked better. I get complements frequently, and his haircuts are the cheapest way I’ve yet found to making me look ten years younger!
