   Pros: Booked this hotel for a couple of nights in Doncaster. I was pleasantly surprised on arrival that it was a "posh" hotel; completely unexpected. The decor in the lobby, bar/restaurant and surrounding rooms is very unique, quirky and cool. The room was nice and spacious, with some cool amenities like the tissue box and desk lamp. The bathroom is lovely with a powerful, hot shower and a separate bath. The highlight of this hotel is definitely the staff. Lovely, friendly people on reception, and an absolutely exceptional barman named Marcin. He went way above and beyond making us delicious cocktails on both nights, and after our evening out on the 2nd night he went out of his way to show us around the hotel's ballrooms, telling us about the history of hotel, the founder and the owners. His passion for his role shines through, he was truly a credit to the hotel, and made our stay memorable. We will be back in no small way thanks to him. The restaurant serves lovely food, even a very tasty vegan pie, and the bar is open 24hrs for guests. Cons: Biggest con is a very loud, irritating buzzing noise occurring at about 3am for about 10 minutes. We're not sure what it was, but it was loud enough to wake us up both nights. Fed back to reception upon checkout and they said they'd look into it.

   15/20 mins to city centre. Did not stay the night so ignore 4 star. Ballroom is very nicely done out. Service of the food good. Waiters endlessly emptying tables of spent drinking glasses. As you would expect drink prices high as per any other hotel.

   11/10 Absolutely excellent! The corners are tucked, the room is spotless, the towels are arranged, the decor is cool ... Best hotel I've seen in years. Nobody does this anymore. (The restaurant could step it up a bit, not fancier, but more homey maybe. The steak was overcooked and just had some chips on the plate.)

   I love this hotel. It’s quirky, original and fun!! It’s also impeccably maintained with spacious comfortable rooms. But it’s the staff who make it such a great place to stay, always happy to help, to provide great service and always with a smile. It’s a great team. I would however agree with one of the comments that the breakfast is overpriced. But overall I would highly recommend it.

   Interesting place... Love the art deco stuff. Rooms mainly clean (see photo for random footprints on the wall) which was the only fault we had with the room. Bar, like most hotels, lacking in good beer and bit pricey compared to local pubs. But overall a good place to stay.

   Always a pleasure working with this venue! We provided bands on two occasions last year and can't recommend it enough. Excellent party atmosphere and, as well as the venue being stunning, it's perfect for live music. Look forward to coming back in the future!

   Good location for a walk into Doncaster Town centre. The bedrooms are above average and reasonably priced. The bar prices are what you would expect from a near town centre Hotel and weren't overly priced. The food was good and worth a look at whilst staying. The Waiter/barman called josh was very friendly and helpful with suggesting food choices and drinks if you are unsure of what you might like to order. Would definitely visit again when next in the area. Parking is along the street and a very small car park to the rear of the hotel but that doesn't hold many parking spaces from what I could see.

   Great hotel when on business in the area. So much better than the soulless corporates. Fantastic art deco theme throughout. Rooms are a little tired, but clean and comfortable, cannot fault the friendly staff, and the dinner menu was good. I had the fish, it was cooked perfectly. Will definitely use again when in the area

   Great welcome with a great theme throughout our visit. Reception and ballroom are just spectacular. Staff were brilliant and polite at all times, food was excellent and well presented. A great value for money stay deserves 6 star at least.
