The completely ignored my request and my instructions and practically shaved my head from cutting so short. It looks awful

Definitely not the place to get your hair styled or restyled. Probably fine if you just want a middle aged ultiltarian looking short hair cut. Started with fairly long thick hair and they did my sides really high up to grade 3 then whacked a load off the front. My hair is very straight so I asked for some texturising product to style it. They rubbed some cream in it and it just looked wet straight. I am disappointed with it.
My sons first trip to barber, as I had always cut his hair. Amazing experience and EXCELLENT haircut. Barber also offered a lollypop after the cut, which was a bonus!
My review from 3 years ago: "Smart haircuts. Reasonable prices. Friendly staff" Since then they've expanded and increased their prices from £10 to £18. The owner ( a good guys) now works in the other barber in Chiswick. Standards are now inconsistent

I went to get a haircut together with my girlfriend, and the cut I've got was good. My girlfriend went there to get her hard dyed for the first time and her experience wasn't good, since she ended up getting something very very different from what she asked. She also left a review with more details, but well, I don't know much about dying and I can't judge too much. What really upset me and guarantees I will not be going back is the complete unprofessional way in which the store's owner replied to criticism. When my girlfriend called the hairdresser after coming home and realizing she got something very different than what she had asked, the hairdresser was quite aggressive on the call. Much worse was the store owner's reply to the review. In her response, the owner implied my girlfriend had been lying while making up facts of her own (for instance, she gave her a discount because the results were very different than what was asked, *not* a student discount, since the values are also different). The owner also repeated several times that my girlfriend does not speak English, that it was all due to a miscommunication and that next time she should bring an interpreter... It turns out my girlfriend is American and a native English speaker. There are only two options then, either the owner suggested my girlfriend doesn't speak English because she's Asian, or the one needing an interpreter is the store owner. In either case, I will not be returning to a store whose owner is aggressively defensive, makes up facts and makes racist insinuations.
