I just had one of the best haircuts I’ve had in years, and it happened completely by chance while travelling through London. I walked into The Axe Club and was lucky enough to get a cut from Erald — and wow, this guy is exceptional. Even though he knew I was probably a one-time client (I’m visiting from Singapore), Erald was unbelievably meticulous. He took his time with every detail, checked everything from multiple angles, and made sure the final look suited me perfectly. You can tell he genuinely cares about his craft and about giving each person the best result possible. The shop itself has a great vibe, but Erald’s professionalism, skill, and friendliness are what really made the experience stand out. If I lived in London, this would definitely be my go-to barber from now on. Highly, highly recommended — if you’re in London and need a haircut, go see Erald at The Axe Club. You won’t regret it.
I had a haircut at The Axe Club Barber Shop in Chalk Farm and was thoroughly impressed. This is hands down the most polite, and friendly barber experience I've had in a long time. The barber who looked after me was extremely aware of every detail and clearly possesses an incredible knowledge of their craft. I asked for a smooth skin fade, and it was executed perfectly. The final result was truly wonderful. Crucially, the finish was so clean and sharp without relying on any products to enhance the results. Well done to the team at The Axe Club. There are plenty of barbers in and around Camden, but these guys are by far the most professional, friendly, and reliable. I’ve been coming here for around three years now, and in that time, the service has been consistently excellent. Visar and his team are not only highly skilled at what they do, but they also create a really welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. They take the time to listen, give great advice when needed, and always make sure you leave happy with the result. What I really appreciate is the consistency — every cut has been on point, and the staff are approachable, down-to-earth, and genuinely care about their customers. It’s rare to find that combination of quality, professionalism, and friendliness all in one place. I couldn’t recommend them more highly.

Pretty bad haircut. Asked for the sides to taper, but I just have huge random clumps of hair on the side and back of my head and then no hair at all. Makes me look ridiculous. Can't speak for all the barbers, just on my experience. And one of the other barbers was screaming on his phone for time. So much so that some random passerby came in with his baby and said "I think your friend needs help?" It was 10am, I was trying to chill. Anyway, won't be going back
