I think they do really good scissor cuts for a barber. They handled my wavy hair really well, were very friendly and asked what I wanted to do throughout the whole process making sure everything was a good length.
Absolute worst skin fade I've ever gotten. My low taper fade was less than two weeks old and I went in to just get it cleaned up before a few weeks of travel. Looked at well-rated barbers near my hotel and chose this one. Biggest mistake of my holiday. I walked in first thing in the morning, and no one else was in there but the barber (the younger muscular guy). I told the guy exactly what I wanted, and he proceeds to shave MUCH higher along that scalp than it was obviously at. And then he barely knew how to trim the top. So I was left with the sides of what was left of the top sticking out, and I ended up going back to the hotel and spent 45 minutes trying to get it to at least look non-comical. And to top it off, when I was ready to pay, he said it was £40. Are you kidding me?! £40 when the going rate EVERYWHERE around the area is half that? I'm guessing he was clearly taking advantage of me being a yank. Had the owner or anyone else been in there when I was, I bet he wouldn't have tried that. But as I was already pissed off at the cut and didn't want to get into a shouting match, I just paid it and walked out. Having to deal with this horrible cut for weeks and there being plenty of other options around Paddington, do yourselves a favour and opt to get your fade elsewhere.

Al Salon - A Great Find for a Late-Night Haircut ⭐⭐⭐⭐ I was visiting from the United States and needed a haircut late in the evening. Most barbershops here close early, but I found Al Salon open and decided to give it a try. I'm so glad I did! The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming, and I felt comfortable right away. It reminded me of some of the late-night barbershops back home that are a popular spot to hang out, chat, and get a great haircut. I got a fantastic cut, and the conversation was great too. If you're in need of a barber and they're open late, definitely check out Al Salon.
All good except for charging you extra 2 pounds if you pay by card. Also there was a man I guess the manager or whoever he is. He doesn’t have a single idea about customer service
Popped in on a Friday morning, staff was friendly and did a great job. Got a skin fade with a hard part for only 20 pounds. Would go here all the time if I lived in the area.
I've previously been to this store about 5 or 6 time noin the pas. I went for fade haircut was really quite bad he left it uneven on the sides and forgot some hair around ears. When he finished he didn't even show me the haircut and the overcharged me. Definitely I'm not going to go back again
Went here for the first time after moving to London recently and seeing their great reviews. Ali the boss gave me an Amazing haircut (best trim I've had) for a great price in central London, and they're open late too. Very friendly guys and fast and efficient service. Will be coming here from now on! See u soon guys
