Lovely room. The lift wasn't working and I can't manage stairs, but we got a family downstairs room at the sane price as a twin room.. was6a problem at all. Very friendly reception staff.

Stayed here as was up here for an event in the area. Price for the room was good so no complaints and has a large car park tgat was good as our van isn't the smallest. Main street sign was easy missed as we arrived at night and its not lite up and hidden by the trees. Staff were ok but no interaction, straight to business "here are your keys, top floor lift not working". Yes, the lift wasnt working so lucky we were not people that struggle with the stairs. The rooms were nice abd tidy and look like a typical chain hotel room. Few gripes though, heating didnt work and no bed side lights, only bright main lights so no good if obe person doesn't want to go bed yet. Also if the bathroom lights are on, the fan in there is fairly loud in the bedroom. Still, got good nights sleep and not expensive so cant complain.

I stayed at this hotel very last minute, needing a hotel close to Hooten Lodge Farm. This was about a 15 minute drive away. In terms of the room it was quite dated. It was clean, not the comfiest bed but also not the worst I have slept on. The only plug socket I could use was the one by the kettle, which is my only dissapointment. The bathroom was clean with a decent enough shower. The hotel was quiet, not many people around, and a good night sleep was had. The aircon working would have been amazing! I popped down to reception to borrow a usb plug and they were happy to assist. Plenty shops and petrol stations near by.

Stayed here for one night . Everything you need for a budget stay. Location not central however staff very helpful . Rooms were great for the price Large rooms . Extra services ie hairdryer and ironing board . No bar and lift was broken didn't cause us an issue but as we on third floor would have been a problem if you had mobility issues Overall a good size room and clean Good value for money

Arrived to find dirty rooms and stained carpets curtains and the bed.Even dust in the cups in the room. Didn't feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Very poor communication from the desk.

Good functional place for brief stays, clean. Bathrooms are new and good. Room carpets need a change. Bed and linen clean. Most of all parking is abundant and free. Courteous staff at the front desk, they even gave me extra tea bags and milk

Well what can I say. The hotel is a perfectly located, a modest clean place that is conveniently located being a 10 minute drive to Sheffield City Centre, without having to pay the expensive prices of hotels over there. Located next to a health spar, bowling complex and restaurant/carvery, it has the essential ingredients for eating, entertaining and fitness. The best thing though I would have to say though about this hotel, is the level that the staff will go, to accommodate your needs. I was especially grateful to 'Richard' who went out of his way to provide some important documentation which was by no means a 5 minute thing. He had no hesitation to do this during his night shift after we spoke. My advice to you, would be to book the hotel direct, do not go on the generic booking sites, save yourself some money by going on their website or giving them a call. Thanks again guys, for going the extra mile.

Room needed a little TLC in places. Not quite sure what the plastic cup of hand soap was all about. The heater on the wall looked quite dodgy! However, for £52 to break up a long drive to the North, it did the trick, clean and comfy. Shower was spacious and plenty of hot water. Vending machine in reception was particularly handy when we arrived at midnight.
