   I got a haircut at this place on 01/12/2025 around 5:45 pm and didn’t catch the name of the stylist. The service was absolutely unacceptable. The stylist kept making unnecessary hand gestures, and since I wasn’t in the mood to tolerate nonsense, I feel it’s important to make both the public and the company aware: service standards must be upheld at all times. If someone doesn’t want to cut hair, then they shouldn’t be cutting hair in the first place. I have better things to do than deal with childish behaviour. You are here to cut hair and deliver a professional experience — nothing less. Next time, I expect myself and the general public to be treated with respect. Anything short of that is a failure of duty

   Been given a lopsided haircut today afternoon which I discovered combing at home, my gf had to intervene with scissors to have it remedied. In addition, unlike Canary Wharf branches where I’ve always experienced excellent service, I haven’t been offered a drink or water and the barber seemed like he didn’t want to be there. For £40 I’d have expected decent quality and service, neither of which have been delivered. Will be sticking to the CW branches

   Went in for a quick clean shave at Ted Moorgate over my lunchtime. Met Hasan who gave me one of the nicest shaves. No cuts, good conversation and just overall a nice chap. The hot towel shave and overall cleanup was all part of it without me having to ask. In and out in 20! Will be back thanks Hasan.

   Huseyin Meydan was excellent. First time coming into this barber shop and he cut my hair fantastically, and really gave a 5 start service. Could not recommend more! I’ll be back again in a couple of weeks. Thank you sir!

   Terrible experience. I went in on a Monday evening for a simple taper fade and slight shape-up but ended up with a very questionable fade and a nick on my neck from shaving. The barber also did several things without asking, like covering my face with a hot towel and even added random extras like eyebrow threading to the bill, which I never received. In the end, I was charged £65 for what should’ve been a straightforward haircut. I wouldn’t have minded paying that if the service or result had been good, but it really wasn’t. Definitely wouldn’t recommend.

   Made a trip especially to get my hair done by Hasan Baran who normally works at the St Paul’s branch. Amazing as always, best service ever and wouldn’t go anywhere else. Have been getting my cuts done by Ted for seven years

   Asked the young looking barber with glasses in the Moorgate branch for a particular style and even showed a picture for reference, absolutely butchered my hair and the end result looks nowhere near like what I asked for. (Let it be clear I went in there with a full head of hair and it was basically all clippered off rather than scissored) Got highly offended when I kept asking about things in regards to the haircut and also was incredibly rough when brushing my hair too. Got to a point where I didn’t even want to speak as it would of annoyed him too much. The particular style I wanted would of involved a lot more scissor work and I’ve basically been left all shaved back and sides with barely any hair left on top. Would not recommend and would not come back at all.

   I went to Ted grooming moorgate branch my stylist was Mustafa he was exceptional from the get go. Very polite and welcoming. After taking my jacket he offered a cold drink and proceeded with my hair cut. He took my request and did as I mentioned. It didn’t take long to spark a conversation with him. The results are as shown on my photo I was impressed with the quality of hair cutting. The way he looked after the whole experience and took the time to even as if I needed anything else.    Please can this review be shown to Ted Baker Grooming Room CEO. For 2 years I have been coming to the Moorgate store on a fortnightly basis. That's the equivalent of roughly £1400 that I alone am worth to your shop. This week I made a complaint because a totally inept barber (not his fault) was allowed to cut my hair. I had to stop him and ask another barber to intervene. Two weeks prior to this, I also left your shop with a totally disastrous haircut. I assume this barber was also new. I did not want to embarrass either barbers there, and therefore paid. I followed up with a complaint, asking for a refund for both of these, which you have just denied. If anyone want a dissatisfactory customer care service, an appalling attitude on the phone, and cheap, inexperienced barbers, then go to this shop. You might be lucky and get one of these two that I had. A disappointing outcome to a loyal customer. You should be ashamed of yourselves. I will not be returning. This review will be sent by post to your CEO, and every customer review page. Very disappointing outcome for you.
