   Highly recommend Tom we’ve been taking our little westie Simbi to Tom for about 4 months, this is her third visit, Tom is incredibly patient and good with Simbi and as a result Simbi’s cut is exactly how we requested, perfect! We have only ever had positive experiences with Tom and we are more than happy to leave Simbi in his capable hands. Would definitely recommend Tom he is fantastic at what he does, thankyou Tom :)

   First time at Clarkes but reassured speaking to Tom that Hetty would come back looking how we wanted. From her first meeting, the care and attention was brilliant.    Tom really knows how to groom and handle terriers. I only wish we found him sooner! He handstripped and cut our little Buddie yesterday for the first time and he did an amazing job. He really listened to what we liked with Buddie’s groom and you can tell he really cares and goes the extra mile for the dogs. He welcomed little Buddie into the salon and Buddie loved him. We were nervous finding a new groomer up north for the first time and really struggled to find one willing to hand strip and take on new clients. Tom was so friendly and delivered a top service. We will be back! Thank you so much.

   Fantastic service at this awesome groomers. My precious Dog Taffi had surgery some months ago on his back leg. and we were all nervous about him being groomed after a previous bad experience. We needn’t have worried. The team here did a fabulous job and Taffi looks as cute as a button. Highly recommend!

   I brought Spike my 11 month old wire haired fox terrier for his first proper grooming session today. He’s not keen on being brushed so I was a bit nervous, but Tom and the team were lovely. Spike was quickly at ease, running around with the other pooches so I happily left him to be groomed. I’m absolutely thrilled with how Spike looks and the best bit was seeing him so relaxed and happy when I picked him up. Would absolutely recommend bringing your dog here, you won’t regret it.I’ll be bringing Spike back in a few months :-)

   Stevie my 10 month old border terrier went to Tom for her first hand stripping today. I did my research and it paid off!    My dog had not been groomed (professionally) in seven months - prolonged following a house move and finding little local available appointments. Our dog is a soft coated wheaten terrier, who does not moult...and we live on a farm! Although he looked cute, his coat had become a curly matted mess - and I was riddled with guilt that I could not manage my own dogs hair. Tom was really kind and we discussed what he would and may be able to do (managing expectations). Two hours later and the curly mess was gone - some curls and wheaten features could be saved - and I was very happy with Tom's work. He'd meticulously gone over every inch of my dog and tidied him up. This is a 'wipe the slate clean' moment to start getting our dog back his beautiful wheaten coat - minus the matting. Thank you Tom!
