Jackie and Becky on reception were amazing. Having stayed at a different hotel in Sheffield the night before where they had a big event on but didn’t bother to tell me. I arrived at premier inn exhausted. They both did their upmost to get me checked in and gave me a quiet room. I slept like a baby. Would 100% recommend. The hotel is in a good location just off m1 but peaceful. Rooms are clean. Staff were amazing. Thank you

I booked a single night's stay here due to my son's swimming competition nearby. The hotel team's exceptional service began right from arrival, where they were highly flexible and accommodated both an early check-in and a later check-out. My primary need was a quiet location to complete university work, and they proactively ensured my room was in a tranquil area, free from distractions -this was immensely helpful for a serial procrastinator like myself! I am incredibly grateful to the team for being so accommodating and ensuring my stay was productive and stress-free

OK for a quick stop-over. My room was next to the stairs, so it was a bit noisy. Comfortable bed. The room was a quite dated and could do with some maintenance - the only wall socket next to the bed was loose. The room could also be cleaner - the bed smelled like a smoker had been sleeping in it, there was nowhere to plug in a USB lead, and the carpet had patches of thick dust in the doorways and corners. The location was probably good once, but the restaurant next door is closed down, so the only place to eat in the evening is a MacDonalds across the road. If you want a decent evening meal, you'll have to get back in your car and head into town. Breafast was good - friendly service.

Easy access off the M1 Rooms were cold as the heating wouldn't go up Service was good from staff pleasant and helpful. Next door restaurant shut for 10 weeks for refit so that affects the evening meals. We needed to travel in a car to local pubs which was better anyhow. just seemed like a struggling Premier inn and wouldn't go back.

Clean, comfortable, easily accessible hotel with ample parking. The room was a little hot, due to no AC, however a large fan was provided which helped a lot. The restaurant next door has reopened, although I didn't use it on this visit. The stand out point for me, was the staff! We had travelled from Devon, for my partner to have major surgery at Northern General Hospital, and an, otherwise, stressful visit was made bearable by the care & compassion of every member of staff I met; they went above & beyond to check that I had everything I needed and that I was OK & enquired daily about my partner (he's recovering well). I'll be back to stay again when I return to bring him home. THANK YOU!

Staff excellent. Very dirty room, standards in room poor.

Paid £200 for 2 nights, to be kept awake by the bathroom fan despite the light not being on, air in the water pipes so radiator was noisy, it was cold, could hear everything going on around and was woken up at about 2am by people upstairs. Bathroom was dirty and we couldn’t have the tap on for long as it would flush due to the sink being blocked, toilet seat was dirty too. Bed was comfortable, however, couldn’t have right side bed light on as made a humming noise, staff were ok. What shocked me most was being in Yorkshire And not having Yorkshire tea bags lol!! Room is ok for a very short stay, wouldn’t stay here more than 2 nights though

Not the usual Premier Inn standards, no lift, one room key, musty smelling bedroom. Unhelpful reception staff, providing an elderly person a room on the first floor, along a long corridor that felt too long to cope with. Needs renovating. Good meals and service though

The rooms need an update still utilising a convection heater for the rooms so it’s difficult to get a comfortable temperature, the walls/ceilings are thin and can hear pretty much everything going on in the rooms around you, as well as above.

We headed here late one evening after work and were greated by a member after staff who was friendly chipper and helpful. We messed up our booki g by ordering only one breakfast but it was no effort for her to amend things for us. The room had everything needed for a short stay and was clean warm and cosy. The morning g all you can eat breakfast was great. The staff couldn't do enough and were informative as to how we get things ordered. The food was pretty good too and after a nice leisurely visit to the restaurant we were set for the day.
