I have not been to this library for a long time but it has always been fab, today I was in quite a predicament and the ladies in there helped me out, I am so grateful to these woman, that you so much. I wish I knew their names!
The best library ever! A real community space with loads going on but quiet enough for you a study/work. Wonderful staff, very welcoming and accommodating. One of my favorite places to be. Highly recommended!
We are new to the area and decided to join the library. The lady we spoke to was very pleasant and helpful, she informed us what was what in the library, she issued us both with a card and a pin to go online. Very helpful. There are plenty of activities going on on different days. You can now obtain decent coffee from the machine for only £1.00, whilst browsing the good selection of book to borrow. All the staff are very helpful, during the winter months I can see many people going in to keep warm.

The library is a fair size for the size of the town, the staff are very helpful and knowledgeable even with my obscure and vague query about finding books to help inspire me in writing an RPG campaign. The staff are particularly brilliant when we visit with our daughters and really encourage a love of learning and reading. The library also runs lots of free activities during the holidays, these can be popular so it's worth finding out in advance and arriving early.
