Amazing little cottage, everything you need provided for you, lovely bottle of bubbles to welcome. Cosy, ultra clean, great bedroom space (double & single bed), shower was powerful and just lots of space all round. Lots to do in the area and surrounding villages. Have stayed in the the shepherds hut as well and always a welcoming feeling from Rachel - definitely look forward to another stay in the little cottage, just perfect- thank you again x

Perfect location for a lovely weekend away. One night was purchased as a gift from friends and we upgraded to 2 nights so we could enjoy Eyam. The little hut is so cute, comfy, relaxing and a little bit of heaven and peace. Was really worried about the loo but really shouldn't have been. We didn't use the fire pit or log burner as the weather was lush so feel like we need to book later in the year to appreciate even more! Also recommend The Miners Arms and Toll Bar fish and chip shop!! Don't forget to explore Eyam and its history x

Rachel, Hayden and Gilbert are a beautiful family and such wonderful hosts. Me and my husband love staying in the shepherds hut and this has now been our 2nd time. We can’t recommend this gorgeous place enough. The fire is amazing, it’s so cosy and romantic and we love having the breakfast hamper that Rachel very kindly organises. It’s like being able to escape from reality and be able to breathe in our breathtaking Derbyshire. It’s a place we have fallen in love with and will be returning for many years to come we hope. Thank you so much to Rachel, Hayden and Gilbert! Sobia and Barney x

Amazing experience in the hut! Our host, Rachel, was incredibly easy to deal with and made us feel very welcome. She is very knowledgable about the local area and the hit is a must for anyone who wants to see more of the Peak District. Can’t wait to rebook and soak up some more of that glorious sunshine in the garden. Thank you!!!

My second stay at The Hut and it's been just as perfect and relaxing as my first stay. Beautiful location, cosy and warm in the hut with everything you could need for a break away from it all. Will definitely stay again one day, thank you so much for everything Rachel ❤️

This was quite a short notice booking for me, booking only four to five weeks ahead of the date. The purpose at the time was to do something a little different and to temporarily escape the pressures of work. What an excellent decision this turned out to be. From the hut itself to the location and to the hospitality, everything was perfect! If you want to get off the "merry go round" of life for a while I'd highly recommend this as a break. The owners have put their heart and soul into this and every fine detail shouts passion, quality customer service and cosiness. I stopped two nights in early March just as the temperature was dropping to below zero. I was concerned before hand if I'd be warm enough but I had no need to worry at all. The log burner along with the electric heater are more than enough to keep you cosy on the coldest of winter nights. My only regret is that I didn't book to stay for longer. I stayed for two nights but could easily have stayed longer. The village of Eyam is quite something but for me it was the Little Green Hut that made this break special along with the wonderful hospitality of the owners. Highly recommended. Something you must do! :-)

Had a gorgeous weekend at The Hut. It was so cosy and cute, we felt so relaxed and at peace whilst staying. Rachel was really communicative and helped with any questions. Breakfast was lovely (granola - delicious!). We’d love to come back in the summer time!

We stayed one night for my partners birthday, Rachel helped making it special by creating a beer and cheese board! The hut is equipped with plenty of games/activities making it perfect to be phone free and enjoy quality time together. The hut is in an excellent location and spent the following morning soaking up the views whilst eating our breakfast hamper before heading off into Eyam and Curbar Edge. Would definitely recommend and hope to be black in the future! We regret only staying the one night!

Had the most amazing, relaxing stay at The Hut Eyam. Rachel was the perfect host, and the attention to detail made the weekend so special. Roasting marshmallows on the fire, long walks in the Peaks and delicious pub lunch- what more can you ask for? Would 100% recommend for a romantic getaway.

Clean and quirky accommodation but we found the traipse to the bathroom and kitchen too far. Breakfast hamper disappointing with bread and muesli. Some fruit and pastries would have been nice and tea making facilities in the hut would be beneficial. Good location and nice scenery but not for us I'm afraid
