I've been getting my nails done religiously with Anona for a year and a half now and however weird my ideas are I haven't been able to phase her. Whether I need some chic wedding nails, bright pop punk festival nails or even festive Christmas dragons, she seems to take it all in her stride and let's her creativity shine.
Anona is a fabulous nail artist. She can work wonders with her brushes and is so creative with her nail art. She is welcoming and reassuring and always focuses on what the customer wants and will work best for them. I'd had a bad experience previously and was quite nervous when I first started seeing Anona for my nails but she got excited about my ideas, always does her best to recreate even the craziest designs I bring and my nails last much longer now.
If there's one thing I cannot live without, it's nail art and a perfect gel manicure. I've been getting my nails done consistently since 2011 and in 2017 I found an amazing nail tech that I stayed loyal to until I relocated to London for work in April 2022. In comes Anona! Believe it or not, finding a talented nail tech in London, who's gifted with nail art, highly skilled, professional and doesn't cost an arm and a leg isn't easy! I tried two or three new salons before I found Anona on Instagram. I was blown away by her selection of nail products, wonderful nail art and how neat her work was. I reside in West London but driving to Anona only took 45 minutes and there was loads of free parking (which you rarely get in London). Even though I was late to my first appointment, she was understanding, warm and friendly, managed my expectations and put me at ease. I left less than an hour and a half later with a fresh set of gorgeous nails and I knew I found my new nail lady then and there! The original set I booked in for wasn't the best for my naturally thin nails but it didn't matter because Anona offers lots of types of nail enhancements so you can try what will suit you best. Fast forward to today and I am currently rocking the coolest Keith Haring nail art, which I've already had so many compliments on! I recommend Nona and her cute doggie, Luna (who is the cutest little pup EVER) to anyone who wants a nail lady who is a perfectionist but also speedy and professional, whilst lending a listening ear if you need to chat. You won't be disappointed! It's been over a year and I've NEVER broken a nail, If you know, you know!!
