   Since moving to Slough, this salon has become my go-to for nails. They’re very accommodating with walk-ins, you might have to wait a little, but I’ve always been able to get my nails done the same day. All the staff are amazing. I’ve had my nails done by Vanessa a few times; she’s lovely and makes you feel comfortable right away. This time I had my nails done by Alisha for the second time, and she was amazing again. She has great attention to detail and always delivers clean, beautiful results. Highly recommend.

   Five Star Nails is a fantastic and professional nail salon with efficient and quick nail technicians. I booked a last-minute appointment during my trip, and they were able to accommodate me. I opted for the Biab builder gel nail color in Dreamer, which is perfect for achieving clean and strong nails. Thank you for your service.

   Not coming back! Had Shellac done on the 10th September for my holiday. In less than 5 days it started to chip from the non free edge and lifting along the free edge. I’ve had shellac last with no chips on a 21 day holiday when done at another salon. I’ve given 5 star nails multiple chances as it’s local to me, however I won’t be coming back now. (Had dipping nails done previously which were a disaster) Previously I have had walk-in appointments so this time I thought if I booked ahead and went at a time when it’s not busy the nail technician will not rush my nails. There were only 4 other clients when I had my nails done, plenty of time and no rushing from the technician and still a poor outcome. I’ve noticed that the technician does not seal the free edge/tips of my nails like other salons do which makes shellac last really long.

   My nails have been damaged / traumatised in this salon. I only had 'natural' manicure. Unfortunately it is not the first time this happened either. The technicians are really rough and apply so much force. My nails have deep dents in them now, it looks like a layer has been drilled off. They look unhealthy and can only hope they grow out by Christmas. Five Star Nail Salon Farnham Road Slough. The good thing is they don't have aggressive sales tactics. But due to nail damage I don't think I will be back.

   Fantastic service. Very friendly staff and great atmosphere here. I would highly recommend going to this salon and if you are new to having your nails done they are very knowledgeable and will help you choose what suits you in nail shape and colours. They also do beautiful designs. I will be back at the end of the month

   When I booked my appointment, I was clear that I wanted the £30 gel set and k also confirmed that when I got to the salon. When it came to pay I was charged £37 for the acrylic set by the same guy that I confirmed what I wanted from the start. He did not care that they have made the mistake and still made me pay the higher price. My sister was also getting her nails done, was also charged for their faulty service with the full each along with £5 extra for their lousy design of a Santa's hat on 2 nails which consisted of a red line and a white dot on the side of the nail totaling up to £42. And don't get me started on the wonky quality of the job that was performed. Save your money and go elsewhere as it's not worth the time.

   I've been using their services for the last four years. Sometimes, I’ll schedule an appointment, and I’ll still wait in line for an hour or more. Other times, my name will not be in the appointment book. I got in this morning without an appointment, they dissolved my powder, and I sat there for more than an hour and a half without anyone attending to me, with my fingers dry and ashy from the dissolving solution. I was in pain from a medical procedure, so I told one of the ladies that someone should shape my nails for me because I was not well so that I could go home and come the next day; she got upset, called a gentleman, who came to file my nails, cut it, didn't bother even to clean my hands or lotion it and told me I could leave. They charged me £10, and I left with my hands looking like this. They were so disrespectful and condescending when genuinely I wasn't well, and I had to go home. After this experience, I'm not going there again but to treat your customers this way is so unacceptable; irrespective, be kind to people; you may not know what they may be going through.

   The amount of times I’ve been there , every time different design . The prices are fair , every 6th visit is half price . Unfortunately hard with parking , location is good. Waiting times can be from straight away to like hour and half depending on how busy it is .

   I’ve been using 5 Star Nails as a loyal customer for a couple of years now, I do feel like the quality has gone down recently. I’m finding myself going in more regularly to have my nails done, SNS manicures aren’t lasting longer than 6-7 days for me personally, this has happened with the last 2 sets I’ve had. Tony is always super accommodating but I think it’s just loosing its sparkle a bit. I’ve recently found myself going to new salons which is a shame but the quality that once was, is not the same anymore. Picture is of my nails before and 7 days after a SNS manicure, usually I can see cracks and chips from 5-7 days. It doesn’t feel as neat as it once was and now there isn’t as many layers of colour powder used as you can see the tip of my finer nails through the colour - I’m aware of the natural colour but it’s never been like this. Really hope this improves, will not be returning for a while.

   Amazing service as always! Five star are always accommodating and have amazing covid measures in place including screens in between each table and good ventilation. Tony and the team are always ready to try out any designs requested and my nails last for weeks before needing to be redone. Thanks guys, see you in the new year :)!
