   I tried Amy’s and was very pleased with the service! A couple of my nails chipped only a few days later, but they repaired them at no cost. Later, I accidentally damaged another nail (this time it was totally my fault), and Amy kindly fixed it for free again. I was amazed and really pleased with their customer care — highly recommend!

   Had been going here for years but have now switched to another nail salon after my last horrendous visit where I was left sitting with my hands in acetone for 40 minutes. They take on customers they don't have enough staff to work on. I raised the issue 4 separate times during the wait and was ignored, on the 3rd occasion the nail tech dropped a torn up paper towel in the acetone and told me to rub my nails against it!!! Finally I had enough, the skin on my hands were blistering and I told them I was leaving and would not be coming back. Amy then approached and started making excuses and saying they don't file off the SNS as it is damaging. It was laughable, to blatantly lie to my face despite knowing I've been going every 3 weeks for 6 years. No apology and tried to charge me £10 for take off!! Needless to say I didn't pay and I will never be returning either. No loyalty and completely dishonest, instead of taking responsibility for accepting to many clients, they treat you like rubbish and charge for substandard work. Just pure greed and lack of customer service!

   I booked my daughter in for nails and she was still sitting there half hour later. My daughter over heard a comment by a member of staff saying, well they made an appointment but still have to wait. This is an absolute disgrace. you should not be taking appointments if you have absolutely no Intention of giving them to your customers at that time. My daughter walked out and will not be returning.

   I have been here a few times and am constantly disappointed with the rudeness of the owner. She doesn’t seem to care when you’ve made appointments, frequently late for them. Some of the ladies in there are lovely but it’s just overshadowed by the careless owner- I DO NOT understand why it is always so busy. Much nicer places like Laura’s, where you were greeted with kindness and respect as a costumer. Will never return to Amy’s.

   Had a great experience here. Had a Gel Pedicure. Was £32 so reasonable compared to some other places. Had a really good pedicure done. Was worried as I had read other reviews about them hurting people when cutting cuticles. But they took care and I really enjoyed it. Left my feet feeling nice and soft with very neat colour. Will definitely be going back here. Only thing to note is this place is CASH ONLY I had to leave my phone while I went to the cash machine.

   Me and my friend went with an appointment booked. We then still had to wait another half an hour after our booking time to even be seated. My technician started quickly on mine but my friend was left sat for a further 20 minutes without being seen. They drilled incredibly low into both of our cuticles to the point it was so painful. I asked for coloured tips which they did but very badly with no due care of attention to detail as half of them have half a layer of paint and i can basically see through it, not only this but I did not want glitter and the technician was confident about putting glitter on them. I also got lines drawn on them and they are all wonky and none of them look the same. My friend wanted white acrylic tips on toes and hands, they took so long to do this and didn’t even do a proper job of it by putting an acrylic tip on 2 of her toes and not the rest. When it came to her hands the white tips are all different size too. We will not be going back as they were not welcoming and did not look after us as customer, considering the cost, the outcome should have been 1000x better.

   I would give 2* this time. Not happy with my manicure, messy. Last time I did my nails with the girl named Quinn (not sure if it’s correct name), and I was happy with my manicure. This time, a different girl did my nails, she done them super fast and super messy, she cut my cuticle…the salon was not busy, she couldn’t take a bit longer and do my nails properly. She didn’t care ! Disappointed… I did pedicure today with a different girl. I love it. She is super professional. Thank you.
