Cut my nail numerous times and shaved half my nail down I am not impressed,tried to give me fake flower stickers when I asked for the paste and tried to basically rip me off !!!
Worst nail experience I’ve ever had. I asked the first technician not to file my nails down too much, she was fine and understood. However, partway through, a man took over and completely ignored that request. He filed my nails down so aggressively that they’re now painfully thin. He also cut my pinky finger, which bled, and applied some chemical that stung badly, it’s still sore now. He also cut two other cuticles, both of which bled. To top it off, the finished nails are uneven and stick up unnaturally rather than following the natural shape of the nail. Really disappointed and wouldn’t recommend.
Genuinely the worst experience I have EVER had getting my nails done. Left me waiting for 40~ minutes with no warning of such a long wait time when it wasn't that busy, then got up and left and switched people multiple times leaving me waiting during my actual nail service. I only got an acrylic set on my hands which usually takes 45min-1hr but I was in there for 3 whole hours. Charged me £8 more than the board said while pretending to give me a discount (I can read), cut me during the appointment drawing blood as he was rushing so much and being extremely heavy handed and all of my nails are sore and hurt now hours after the appointment. Extremely unprofessional and overpriced and will never ever visit again.
Its a shame I am writing this review as have been here before and it was okay. This time, I went for a pedicure. As the lady was filing my foot, she cut the back of it (quite badly) and it started pouring blood. She had scraped off a long, thick chunk of my skin. She covered it in a yellowy powder which I am hoping was antiseptic but not too sure as she didn’t tell me what it was. Then when it was time to pay, she didn’t even offer any sort of discount at all. When I asked, she seemed a bit annoyed and offered a £5 discount. Not ideal, won’t be attending here again.
Reservation to service was great! The staff are friendly and very nice providing a comfortable experience. I had gel manicure with design on two fingers and it was fantastic! I love the results and they were very kind when I had asked to switched colors multiple times.
Highly recommended nail salon! Excellent customer service and nice staff. The owners were really nice too and we felt like two princesses not to mention the nails! They were perfect
Wonderful people who genuinely care about their customers and making them happy. Always so nice to my kids and giving them treats! Super clean salon with lots of great options. The absolute best place to go for your nails!

Did a great job on these acrylics. They’re perfect and I love them! £40 but they have gel polish on them so should last 3-4 weeks.
I had infills and shellac gel polish done on my nails. It was an absolutely rushed job by the man as it was late and I was the last customer of the day. The shellac hasn’t even set smoothly on to my nails and looks awfully thick, scratched and lumpy. Not happy at all! My eyesight is very poor so I trusted his work and I didn’t notice how bad it really was until I woke up the following morning and saw my nails in the natural light. Pedicure on the other hand was done by a lady who did an amazing job. I love how my feet have turned out. I contacted the salon who were terribly sorry for my experience and asked me to go back. I did and they redid my nails as a gesture of good will and the transformation was incredible. I’m much more happier with my nails and they look absolutely beautiful. (You can see for yourself the before and after results). Thank you American Nails for having great customer service. I look forward to seeing you again.
